if the fans boo they will cause recruits to look at other schools and take tennessee off their list.so please do not boo saturday.those of you that do boo were the ones that thought cbj could get it done in year 1 with a empty cupboard.again i must say what does brick by brick mean. GO VOLS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we have lost some good recruits in previous years because of fans harsh criticism of players and the team. Some recruits have explained their choice to go elsewhere for that very reason.

There is no question that we have all the right in the world to boo, post nasty comments on Twitter or do anything else to voice displeasure. The question is--is it the smart thing to do to encourage good play or make prospects want to be a Vol? I say no. You say yes because you like to boo and bash to make yourself feel good.

If you put a better product on the field maybe the students will come back . If you can get them back how are you suposed to worry about recruits . They see the same lame duck Qb we see .

Booing Worley is not the samething as booing the Vols . Booing bad coaching and play calling is not booing the Vols . By the time I spend $200 on tickets, parking, food and drink I expect something worth watching .And this has to be the worst Qb I have ever seen at TENNESSEE . O and I have seen Simms and Crompton play. He!! I was there when UGA made crompton look like a world beater.

So you say "BOO!(BUTONLYTOWORLEYANDNOTTHEOTHERGUYSOHANDIDON'TLIKETHEPLAYCALLINGANDCOACHESSOI'MBOOINGTHEMBUTNOTANYONEELSESOPLEASEDON'TGETDISHEARTENEDORGIVEUPBECAUSEISPENTALOTOFMONEYANDEXPECTGOODPLAYING)

I'm not going to boo 20 year old kids.

But I'm also not going to say I have a problem with people who boo Derek Dooley, Lane Kiffin, or Butch Jones.

Go ahead and " Make Richt's (Gus, Will's, Dabo's -----fill in the blanks) day.

How do you believe booing Worley is not booing the Vols? Talk about being in touch with reality!!!!!!!!!!

I guess it helped your self esteem, manhood or something, but it sure didn't help the Vols.

It is ok if the team is stinking it up! Football is entertainment, if it's not good entertainment then it is subject to get booed. Chanting to get a coach fired usually gets results as well. Just ask Lane Kiffen.

I forget what year exactly it was because lately they all run together, but I was at a game when Palardy was tanking it left and right and a good portion of the crowd boo'd. Most definitely heard boo's for Dooley multiple times.

Just remember you'll get what you expect. Start booing, may as well keep booing because it won't get any better.

I would like to hear from those who think it is okay to boo the team. Based on your personal perspective... at what age is it not okay?

Do you think it is okay to boo a HS football team?

How about Junior High?

Is it okay for parents/fans to boo your son's T-ball team?

I'm just curious where the line is for booing non-professional athletes so we can clear this up once and for all.

In general I am anti booing athletes period, our team, their team.....it just feels pretty unsportsmanlike. I don't like when we boo opposing teams when they come in either (though I may have overlooked this for Florida a couple of times). There is only one time it is acceptable to boo, and that is a bad referee call......then I find booing to be a time honored tradition.
