Wife had to go to the Hospital yesterday morning with dizziness and upset stomach. After Warren committed, I went to see how she was doing. Coming along pretty well now.

He also mentioned how fans represented in that game at LSU last season. He was actually on a trip to LSU when our team put an absolute beat down on them and our fans took over their stadium. Greatest fans on earth.
Here is the quote

"I was on a visit to LSU when they were playing against Tennessee and I got to see that beat down. I learned that there were 30,000 Tennessee fans at that game. It was clearly visible. That whole side of Death Valley was covered in orange. The Power T was shown and the music was blaring from their end. It was huge.”

Butch Jones had good players but didn't know how to use or develop them

How many S&C coaches did we go through in that period? Even when he left it seems like it was an opening. He had a problem managing staff in order to create a coherent family. That's not an easy task for a multimillion $ organization. Couple that with the player fallout and the horrific game management, and the "Deal with It" dream got derailed.
In the UF game last year, we wer flat waxing them into the mid 4th Q. Got the ball @ mid field with 8 min to go. It was 3 of the most lacklustre play calls for a 3 and out Ive seen in the CJH era. I immediately had a Butch Jones flashback. We nearly blew that game again.

Butch Jones’ recruiting classes were mostly fools gold.[/QUOTE]
Not really. Jones had one of, if not the best recruiting classes in Vol history. The 2014 class of 32 players was stellar, with Jalen Hurd, Josh Malone, Todd Kelly, Derek Barnett, Charles Mosley, Chris Weathers, Jakob Johnson, Rashan Golden, Treyvon Paulk, Daniel Helm, Evan Berry, Ethan Wolf, D'Andre Payne, Jashon Robertson, Dimarya Mixon, Coleman Thomas, Neiko Creamer, Vic Wharton, Elliott Berry, Emmanuel Moseley, Aaron Medley. It could have been the #1 recruiting class in the country if the recruiting services rated the 32 signees instead of only the top 25 players. I think 7 of those players made NFL rosters. Two played key roles in Super Bowls. Excluded from the ratings were Moseley, Medley, Elliott Berry, Raulerson, Wharton, Creamer and Thomas. About the only busts in that group were Dillon Bates, who was ranked the #7 OLB, and Derrell Scott, who was ranked as the #3 APB. You can trash Jones for being an idiot, but the guy recruited fantastically in 2014.
