i say everything time florida makes a play or there band starts playing we boo as loud as possible... it wouldbe hillarious lets do it!!!

:question: :dry: Booing an opponent everytime they make a good play. Wow, talk about bad sportsmanship. Boo the refs, boo the gators but boo them when they do something questionable.

Find myself shaking my head alot this week at some of the posts I read.

You and me both. I don't view it as bad sportsmanship as much as I do it just being kind of silly. When Florida has 3rd and 7, you ought to be screaming your lungs out and I imagine you and 105,000 of your nearest and dearest friends will do just that. But if we run a nice play for 8 yards on second down in the middle of the third quarter I just don't get why booing that is particularly useful or of any moment.

Booing is sort of like cursing. Very few people can do it effectively without looking like a moron.

if florida makes good plays i will be more upset with our defense than their offense

Personally, I would love to have the atmosphere of a Nebraska game. Even when they were beating the holy hell out of everyone the fans appreciated a 100% effort from the opponents. We all know how awesome the SEC can be, but we also know of a stadium of two that just has no class what-so-ever. I hope UT will never be one of those locations. You don't have to like the gators or cheer a good play if they happen to get lucky:) but show some class. Some of us do have children at the game that we want to teach the concept of respect to.

I cna understanding Booing the refs for making a bad call but not booing the other team for making a good play, that's like booing our own players...That's childish

I'm not much of a booer, the only time I'll boo is either when I feel the refs made a huge mistake or when a team like UF, UGA or Bama runs out of the tunnel. I have more creative things to yell at the players, but I'm starting to get the feeling that they don't hear me. :crazy:

Don't turn Neyland into an overgrown Cameron indoor Stadium. Those Dook sillies act like very small spoiled kiddies during a roundball game. You're expected to harrass the opposition some but they overkill it 100 times over. Let's don't get a reputation for being juvenile like they have.

:nono: Booing Florida every time they make a good play is a very bad idea. First our defense will think we are booing them and second it will make us look like we have no class.
I would hope that we would have respect for good plays on both sides of the ball.
I would hope Tenn. fans would always have a whole lot more class and would never resort to this kind of behavior.

I would hope that we would all remember that it is just a game and that games are supposed to be fun.

Here's my recommendation: Instead of booing like a moron and yelling cute things that probably aren't as funny as you think they are . . . actually make noise when Florida has the ball, be quiet when we have the ball, and avoid doing the wave at all cost.

ok lemme refraise sorry guys i was meanin more along the lines of the band playin or something of that nature ijust think it would be funny to drowned out any celebration by the gators... and you people sayin its an idea for a school kid maybe you should quit being an old fart that just sits there and complains how bad the coaches are and how things should be done.. just shut up and cheer
