. . . actually make noise when Florida has the ball, be quiet when we have the ball, and avoid doing the wave at all cost.
 :salute: sensibility on a message board...whoda thunk it?Here's my recommendation: Instead of booing like a moron and yelling cute things that probably aren't as funny as you think they are . . . actually make noise when Florida has the ball, be quiet when we have the ball, and avoid doing the wave at all cost.
im not callin you an old fart because of the wave i said that because of these people that sit in there chair during even crutial periods of the game and dont make any noise and they always talk like they know everything... not that you are one of them but it just drives me crazy to think how absolutely defining neyland stadium could be but it isnt as loud as it can be because people are to uptight. and regarding the wave... give me a break people the wave does NOT make that much noise .. certainly not enough to make the offense mess up common that is rediculous!I've never understood fans doing the wave during the play of the game. During a tv timeout, okay, as long as you don't make me play, but during an offensive play by your team you want to be as quiet as possible so that your team can hear the snap count and/or check to another play. When your team is on defense you want the whole stadium making noise, not just the folks who are "riding the wave" at that moment.
Call me an old fart - but I just don't understand the sense of it when the game is in play.
what does doin the the wave while the clock is moving hurt?
:lolabove:  :lolabove: That's pretty funny, even if you are a Gator...Okay, let's work through this.
Why do your fans make noise when the opposing offense is on the field? To try to disrupt their ability to hear the snap count and any checks to an alternate play.
When you make noise (by cheering, the wave, etc.) when your team is on offense, you may well disrupt your own team's ability to hear the snap count or change the play.
Oh never mind. Ask me again next week. Do the wave and cheer loudly while your team is on offense this week. They'll appreciate it SO MUCH!![]()
