Boots, shoes and flip flops. Approved by OSHA or NCV67 but not both

My son got a stage 1 hamstring tear doing squats he is a freshman going into Sophomore year and had a max of 325lbs squat they make them come in at 7 am during the week so we get up at 5am and I fix him breakfast and he has time to digest. Then on leg day that is every two days have to start cold with 75% of there max he is the strongest freshman. I think this is stupid well he is now hurt and it's been 5 weeks and he is still hurt.
I hate that for your son. My son played ball in high school and messed his knee and back up pretty good (two different occasions). Long story has sailed. His body knows how long it needs, if you have doubt and want to settle your parent mind, get the doctor to refer him to a good orthopedic doctor.

He is seeing a orthopedic and he has laid into the so called physical therapist at the school and the principal.

doesnt the school require a release from the Dr anyway ?
No the coach tries and get them to play through pain. This is the 3rd head coach in 4 months second strength coach the one before was laid back but my son likes the new one because he pushes them but the 75% of your max cold for reps is dumb.

gonna get a heat stroke some day. take it inside on the treadmill. no traffic to look out for. can't cheat on pace. you can watch shows or watch other people w/o wile you cardio. much better for your joints. win/win/win.

why does HS football require lifting at all? i remember having optional lifting. 'course, we had a lot of country strong dudes who probably never lifted a plate or dumbbell in their life but they could pick up a car by the back bumper and take a mule kick to the chest without going into the fetal position.

true about the treadmill - after playing basketball on concrete many years, I now have bad knee pain at times - I would never recommend running or jogging on concrete -- go to a HS track if its gotta be outdoors
