That was a pretty sketchy call. It was close, but it looked perfectly-timed to me.

Butch is doing a good job at Arkansas State.

Was just an awful call, he called the timeout thinking it would be reviewed and it should have been reviewed. Sorry Butch haters, atleast he sticks up for his team

Not that at all. Just moved on and don't get those that feel the need to constantly bully others in public just because. It makes the fan base look bad.

One can admit it was a bad call and that him taking the time out was also not good without going over board.

Sometimes I feel there are reasons why us Vol fans can't and will never have good things.

- Was it a bad call? Certainly...gotta wonder, was it an SEC crew, by chance?

- Was calling a timeout at the juncture that Lyle called it also a bad call? Yup. But the chart wants what the chart wants, apparently.

- Years after that steaming pile was scraped off the bottom of the program's shoe, is the schadenfreude of seeing that goofy charlatan fall on his face and lose his sh*t still heartwarming? Hell yes it is.

Yeah that photo for me does it and the fact that he intentionally never sought employment to stick it to Tennessee as long as possible. I hate that the players and fans of ark state got screwed but I’m fine with Butch failing at every turn. Low integrity and low character coach.

I try not to carry a grudge but tend to agree. He’s a fraud and pissed away a historically talented roster and stuck it to us on the way out. Nothing at all against Ark St but I hope this is Butches last coaching stop.

Yep. He also intentionally milked UT of all the money he could (taking full advantage of the buyout) by taking a massively inferior job as an analyst. He’s a scumbag.

Doesnt matter one bit to me. But from this angle, the two players closest from this camera view were off sides and the ref was right there. Unless their feet are what needs to cross the line,they were over the line with head, shoulders and almost a knee before the kicker kicked the ball. Hate it for the players, but it was what it was. Review would have come back as confirmed with not enough evidence to overturn the call probably.
