I have bias towards the entire team, because they make up the University of Tennessee football program. All I did was try to shed some light on a specific player that I know about, and let everyone know that he is also playing injured. He's not just hurt and banged up, but injured, yet he is trying to play through it to help the team. Some of you are so dense with your own agenda, so that you can prove your point and maybe pat yourself on the back.

I'm not really qualified to condemn or belittle anyone on the team since I never made it onto a college football team. I remember last year when many people were ripping Josh Smith because he didn't make catches and now many of the same people are crying because he is out for 3-5 weeks. I believe that Croom will turn out to be a real good receiver and be an asset to the team. I also believe that our offensive line will turn out to be much better by the end of this season. I know this is a message board that people can give their opinion on but think about what my father used to say, "The reason we have one mouth and two ears is so we can listen more and talk less." The same can be said about talking too much too soon, just give the kids a chance.

Croom needs to move to TE like most of us agree on.... he will be great at that position. Add a couple more Cryspy Cremes to the diet per week and we will easily be a 245lb nightmare matchup for a LB.... Malone gets more reps and P Williams comes in next season and fights for instant play time IMO.... move on, nothing to see here....

Our O line will get better with each game... by Ole Miss, look out, we will be running the ball on the reg.....

I think so too. The statement "better catch them in September" said before the season was very insightful.

This sentiment continues to amuse me. Take a WR that's primary shortcoming is that he plays much smaller than his actual size and move him to TE. Sounds genius. Leave the kid at WR and let him develop and have a chance to carve out a niche as a Bolden-type WR. That is where his potential is at.

Croom needs to go see Donnie T. and take some boxing out and post up lessons, too. He should be a goal line nightmare. I believe he will do better going forward though.

Croom tried to catch a pass with his hands spread apart. Funny thing is that was a hard play for a DB but easy play for a guy his size. Give that same ball to North or Pearson and they would easily reel it in.

Lots of truth here.

I was an early advocate of moving him to tight end because I thought his issue was speed. That doesn't seem to be the case. Aggressiveness and/or 'feel' for the position seem to be the problem. If that's the case, moving him to tight end would be throwing him from the frying pan into the fire.

I still think he can carve out a nice niche in this offense.

All IMO, of course.

WTH does Croom dropping that pass have to do with three OL we're recruiting for next year? There's already a Croom bashing thread going in the FF. No need to bring that BS in here.

Big Charles will be back with a year of learning the system and will still be a Freshman.

I feel good about our line...........but I still want to recruit some more BEEF.

A lot of WR's lose that match up vs Sanchez. Very talented DB. Get over it
The ball went straight through Croom's hands. Period. Great play on the DB's part, to clean up, but that should have been 6pts for the Big Orange!

It's momentum swings like that (and the bogus non-fumble call) that keeps teams like ours in the "doormat" category, rather than legit contenders. At some point the players have to make...PLAYS. And stop it with the moral victory (we hanged in there) BS.

His dropped pass was as devastating as the dropped passes from Josh Smith in the Mizzou game last year.

Looks like he "kept" the updates to himself. Must have been too good to share.

Sorry actually lost service in coalfield. Posted some in his thread when I got home, but overall not impressed at all looked stiff, slow, didn't see him put a kid on his butt once and didn't finish blocks well. Now coalfield killed a very bad Oliver springs team I mean really bad, but a guy for Oliver springs blew by him a couple times with just a speed rush. There was defiantly a few other people saying the same thing last night. Hopefully when he gets to ut and in the strength program they can work on his agility and work on his flexibility. So far not impressed with what I saw. Might try to catch another game this year when they play some one decent.
