He’s not that good. He’s just the only play maker they have on offense. So you assume he’s really good because Georgia is good and he makes big plays for them. But he’s just a big goofy idiot who can catch poorly thrown passes. Nothing special.

I can understand not going along with the "best player in the country" but that seems a wildly dismissive take. There's no measurable I can cite for the TE position in which he doesn't excel.
