I am the biggest Duke homer on here, but I just do not understand it. Zion is phenomenal, obviously. Barrett is as good as a sidekick in college basketball, too. Other than that this team is pedestrian. Combined with poor shooting and defensive lapses and I do not trust this team in any game past the opening weekend. They very well should have lost to Florida State, Louisville and Wake Forest.

Based on the most recent brackets updated, Tennessee is the the top 2 seed playing in UNC's region in Kansas City. The 3 and 4 seeds there are Texas Tech and Purdue... :/ Almost like yesterdays game didn't even matter... let's win today to erase any doubt

Also, the silver lining to UK's loss is to be a 2 seed in Louisville. Almost is better for them. They win for losing.

I have said for weeks now the tourneys don't matter much at. I get it mattering for Duke because of the injury so that's the expedition. Not going to be surprised at all by anything at this point

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t. The committee does what they want to regardless. It’s really frustrating

I would feel better if he had us ahead of UNC, so he basically has 3 ACC teams locked in and then Tennessee or Gonzaga for that last spot...seems most others who have us as a 1 think we are a 1 over UNC, not Gonzaga.

Definitely want to win and get the number one seed but I think we get the better draw as the number two seed in Louisville. If we win looks like number one seed in the West. The goal is to win today for the Championship.

Just did the same thing. Laughable considering we beat Gonzaga early and they lost the WCC game.

UNC & UVa both losing in their semis and not being impacted is silly. I get UVa only lost to Duke twice and FSU in conference games, and UNC closed strong.

I'd almost rather be that 2 seed in the South instead of 1 seed in the West.

Almost.

Never having a 1 seed before makes it easy to go west.

I see it as the old "rock-paper-scissors" theory. If Tennessee can't beat Auburn, then we've shown we are susceptible to the 3-point shooting teams, more of which we will surely encounter in the NCAA Tourney--thus, not deserving of a top seed.

But if we demonstrate we can also beat a good 3-point team on a neutral court, then we've demonstrated we have what it takes to win against a rock, paper, or scissors. And that's deserving of a top seed.

Very underrated imo.

2 seed at worse. Very possible 1 seed.

As far as rankings, UT may be as high as 4. I would put them about #6 as of today.

Our strength of record isn’t very high and has limited upside w the SEC being so bad. Not a lot of high quality wins to be had.

Go undefeated or lose just 1 it won't matter we'll be a 1. I think if we finish with 3 losses or less and win the SEC tournament we'll be a 1 seed.
