I don't want us to get a projected #1 seed until after we win the conference tournament. We always lose after getting a projected #1 this year...lol.

I'd like to see Barnes make history and opt out of the meaningless SECT. Risk of injury is too great and if you have to win 6 I'd rather see the streak start when it counts.

I get your reasoning. Rest up and preserve for the NCAAT. But they’d piss off every other SEC school? It would be historically selfish. The SECT means a lot to schools on the NCAA bubble. It makes a lot of money for the league. It’s also a nice little Tournsment to follow.

I wouldn't want them to have that much time off

Midwest is the closest region for Tennessee, a lot of folks have Tennessee going there.

I don't think that we have played in the Midwest Region too often in the NCAA Tournament.

I think Tennessee has played in the South Region the most and has played in the West Region the least in their NCAA Tournament history.

Not just that, but anyone who thinks the players don’t want to compete and try to win the SEC Tournament is out of their mind.

Getting a double bye gives plenty of rest. Need the game or two in the
SECT to warm up for the big one. Hopefully a 15 seed will help also.

If playing three games of basketball and then having three or four days off wears these 20 year olds out then we never had a chance anyway.
I still haven’t seen/would like to see the case study of P5 tourney champs and how they fair in the NCAAT
