I'd like to see Barnes make history and opt out of the meaningless SECT. Risk of injury is too great and if you have to win 6 I'd rather see the streak start when it counts.I don't want us to get a projected #1 seed until after we win the conference tournament. We always lose after getting a projected #1 this year...lol.

I wouldn't want them to have that much time offI get your reasoning. Rest up and preserve for the NCAAT. But they’d piss off every other SEC school? It would be historically selfish. The SECT means a lot to schools on the NCAA bubble. It makes a lot of money for the league. It’s also a nice little Tournsment to follow.
Midwest is the closest region for Tennessee, a lot of folks have Tennessee going there.
Not just that, but anyone who thinks the players don’t want to compete and try to win the SEC Tournament is out of their mind.I get your reasoning. Rest up and preserve for the NCAAT.
