All respect comes what you do during much in the actual meaningful tournament. In this tournament Clemson has done nothing, therefore earning themselves the reputation that they have. No matter what they do during the year they will not be looked at any different until they do something in the NCAA TOURNEY. Look at the year St. Joseph's had about 6 or 7 years ago, they went undefeated in the regular season and conference tourney and then got bounced. Who remember them at all for being a great team or a powerhouse school. Until you do something in March you will never be anything more than a mediocare college basketball team.

Saint Joe's (a) lost to Xavier in the A-10 Tournament and (b) lost by two in the Elite Eight that year.

My bad i did forget that they went down in the conference tourney and did end up making it to the elite 8. But for a team that went undefeated and were as highly touted and publisized as they were it just kind of reminds me of the way clemson is. The point of the whole thing was that Clemson has to prove everyone wrong in march, not in regular season or the conference tourney. Yes that stuff matters to get where they need to be come march, but if they cant do it in march then they dont deserve the respect.

Clemson is third in the ACC right now and has been for two consecutive years. From where this program has come they deserve something. You consistently write about the Fighting Harangody's and nonsense Big East teams like that in your wrap ups, but say that Clemson deserves "no" respect?

Yeah, I've really been writing nice things about Notre Dame this year. The top seven teams in the Big East would beat Clemson so bad Dabo Swinney would feel it.

You mean a "nonsense Big East team" like the eighth place finisher that knocked Clemson out of the NCAA Tournament last year?

If you'll go back to my earlier post, I already admitted that it wasn't a loss to be proud of. I concede that we are unproven in the tournament, but I don't think that garners zero respect.
