I still think they are both all Vol but an interesting atricle regarding Willis, and his connection to UNC.

Both players are currently commited to Tennessee, but nothing becomes official until the Feb. 3 National Signing Day.

“The commitment doesn’t obligate them for anything,” said Gary Willis, Brandon’s father, moments ago. “I would advise every kid to take all of his official visits. On the unofficials, they can’t tour the campus or talk to the professors.”

They are just recruiting for UT IMO. If I was a prized recruit no matter how solid I was to a team I would take all of my visits to stadiums that I always wanted to see but who wouldn't

Actually, I think it could actually be a good thing in the long run. The photos on some of these threads was very problematic, and IMHO the whole hostess program needs to be shut down indefinitely. At least for athletes/recruits.

The AD really needs to get ahead of the Power Curve on this and take the wind out of the sails of the inquiry.

Every school uses hostesses. We don't need to shut it down, just tone it down. They need to be classy and convince players that UT is right for them, not sit on laps.

So when the hostess program is shut down, who do we have give tours to everyone? I'm pretty sure they give them to normal every day students as well, not just athletes.

I thought players on the team are the ones assigned to host the recruits. Between that and direct employees of the Athletic Dept. there should be no problem whatsoever. They are not here on a date. They are here to get a glimpse of the program and it's environment. Cock teasing hostesses add absolutely nothing to help in this regard.

It's a silly facade at the heart of it, anyway...I don't care how prevalent it may be at other institutions.

Sort of tough for players to show recruits around when most official visits occur during football games. If we shut down the hostess program, recruiting will fall off the map.

If we shut down the hostess program because of a few rouge hostesses, what do you think the media would do with that?
