Bray/Worely decision (merged)

If Bray is looking as lost as they say then he may well be concussed.

Doctors are creating a new medical term tonight as a result of Bray. It's called a mental concussion and the root cause seems to be an idiotic coach who makes calls more stupid than can even be predicted for him.

I firmly believe Dooley is trying to lose on purpose. If it wouldn't bring more NCAA penalties, (if I was Dave Hart) I would investigate Dooley and convict him of point shaving. Thus firing him without his buyout.

I dont think its just Dooley. Bray could care less , Hunter trying not to get hurt. Patterson the only one trying

Bray cared up until Dooley pulled him. He wasn't playing his best, but most of his throws were overthrows which seemed to be from his adrenaline.

Bray lovers.....where you be? Crickets......give me a respectful Worley all day and you can have your all world disrespectful cry baby Bray.

The guy was leading one of the best offenses in the country. The whole damn team has pretty much mailed it in after he was benched. Dooley made an idiot move and it bit him. If you think Worley gives us a better chance at winning you are more foolish than Dooley.

We were ahead in this game on Bray's td pass to Zach when Dooley decided to bench him. Regardless of how Dooley thought Bray was playing we were actually playing decent defense and winning the game. Dooley made another horrible decision and completely mind fu*cked Bray and the team. You could tell Bray was amped up early and wanted to win this game. That's why he had alot of high throws early. Rogers wasn't sharp either but Franklin didn't panic like Dooley. There was alot of emotion and it was affecting both teams but as usual it's Dooley and Chaney that panic. Benching Bray was the absolute worst thing Dooley could have done to this team. Worst single coaching decision since Bill Battle's fake punt against Georgia. Battle was basically fired on the spot. If Dooley isn't fired immediately after this game then I will be done as a Vol fan after 40+ years. I never cared so little as I do right now.

It doesn't matter if you get benched if you're a baller. I've been benched for a bit because of hot temper before and all it did was make me want to play more -- harder and better. Getting benched doesn't break your spirit.

why does bray throw to 11 or 84. 11 catches and falls down so he wont get hurt, 84 cant run the right route, throw to zack rogers or dallas and reviera. we have a great tight end and u dont throw to him,... GOOD GRIEF!

If you haven't noticed, Bray comes apart like a cheap suit when the pressure is on. I agree with an earlier post, he has zero chance of playing on Sunday.

Pulling Bray out of the game was the right decision since he was doing so horrid.

He needed to settle down and he needed to stop running his ignorant mouth and giving the childish stares and taunts at the Vandy bench.

Worley needs alot more real game experience anyway since he may be our starter next year and he did take us down and get a FG on his 2nd chance.

I don't think Bray really gives a damn at this point in the season and he's a spoiled brat that also comes unglued under much pressure at all.

I actually hope he leaves so we can move forward to the Worley/Peterman era.

I won't be surprised to see some of our Juniors leave either for the NFL or transfer out to play elsewhere after CDD is fired.

I also think AD Hart is firmly behind the 8 ball now and that he'll have a hard time getting a top, proven Head Coach to come to Tennessee and start rebuilding all over again.

NOW is when the big boosters really need to step up in a huge way and give AD Hart the BIG money it's going to take to get a solid HOMERUN hire as our next HC because without a hire like that we're in for a long rebuilding period of many years.

VFL...GBO!!!

It doesn't break you but it screws your confidence especially when there is so much negativity surrounding a program already. That decision totally changed the game and you could see it in almost every offensive player's body language after that point. They were ready to be done with the game, with the coach, and with the whole damn season.

It's easy to call them names: quitters, cowards, etc but these kids have been through a really difficult college experience with a coach that is quick to assign the blame to anyone but himself.
