Bray/Worely decision (merged)

Why manufacture a qb controversy now? Seems like a really lame decision at this point in the season. Especially in a game we were winning?!

It's statements like this which shows what's wrong with society today. You honestly believe it's ok for a young man to CUSS his coach to his face? Really? You remember that if you ever have children.

Look Mr. Morals, if you are going to take everything said on a message board as serious, genuine thoughts and not as sarcasm, you are in for some long nights setting society on the right path. Ease up and let me hate our coach as much as I want and say whatever meaningless nonsense I feel like. I have children by the way. Send me some pointers on how to be a better father.

That pick was on CP for the wrong route. Again.

Problem is most on here don't know football and just want to blame Dooley. Bray was off, and I think he changed a run play to play action when he threw the tipped pick.

No it wasn't. Worley made a bad throw as well. The int was on Dooley for making the stupid change.

I'll take Bray all day at 30 TD - 11 INT. Bone head interception, but the best QB by far.

Dooley isn't the guy's parent, and this isn't Upward Sports. We're talking about two adults. Why can't you wrap your head around that?

Respect for authority is applicable to every facet of life. No...and I mean NO kid, I don't care how good he is/was, would disrespect me to my face. Ever. He'd be done and if I lost my job for sitting him then I'd lose my job but you better believe that team damn well better respect me. You lose respect you lose everything. And people who don't understand that for "any" organization, business, team, or family which does not have respect for parents, coaches, bosses, or whoever is in charge will never have success.

i mean he gave up 7 pts to prove a point. vandy has played everyone tough. dd you idiot. maybe their d takes a full game to figure out. how about that dd? leave him in nashville after we lose.

I've been a Bray guy for the last three years, but his constant attitude towards the staff has finally resulted in the right move by Dooley: bench his ass. Bray is going to try to go pro (despite his ****ty attitude and the fact he cant read defenses) and Worley needs these reps for next year. As Belichick, Dungy (Manning years), and any coach on the pro or college level may not admit, the QB makes the team. Bray has a great arm, average accuracy (61.1%), but MOST importantly poor leadership. He is Tennessee's Ryan Leaf minus the college wins. Bray has beat no one, and can kick rocks as far as I'm concerned. Flame away Bray apologists.

When has Bray ever played hard? Thats the reason he is on the bench.

+400 yards over the last 3 games would tend to argue with your statement. Just because a player can make it look effortless does not mean they aren't playing hard. Bray wanted this game and it was evident from his reaction after the first TD called back.

You should've read my 2nd paragraph before commenting. CP can't run or understand routes. It's not a secret. It was a hot route and he ran a half assed go route.

I call bullsh!& on this one. Dooley did it because he knows he's gone and has never cared for Bray personally. This was done out of spite because Dooley knew it would have no barring on his future.

When i played high school ball and the coach cussed me, I cursed back. He shook my hand and thanked me for being a man. The ' team ' quit on dooley for a reason. They're about to again.

Cool man...have a good time. Peace.

Thought the same thing....

If he was actually coaching for his job he would never consider benching Bray.
