Breaking Bad on amc

Still think a follow up with Walt jr, skylar (skyler?) , and Marie would be cool. May be a short 45 minute film or something. Maybe BCS will answer those questions

Walt Jr. will be eating breakfast, Skylar will be yelling at him and blaming him for all her problems, and Marie will be in the background stealing their silverware.

Dallas - only you would want a television show about the 3 most uninteresting characters on the show.

Hey, Walter jr was my second favorite lol. I just think they need to tie up some loose ends. Maybe I just want the show back too much. I loved it.

I'm thinking that they will somewhat on BCS. Really I just want to know what happened to Jesse. Skyler, Walt Jr, and Holly should be well off if they accepted the money that Walt gave Gretchen and her husband to give to them.

Speaking of BCS... was the last season any good? I have't watched it yet.

BCS is set prior to BB. How can they give any answers to what happened after BB ended?

I actually don't think they're going to address anything to do with Jr. or Sklyar or anyone else but, without knowing the exact timeline of things, we do know that we have already seen Jimmy/Saul post BB timeline.

Oh, I see. Like a flash forward?

I am actually kinda in a weird spot with BCS/BB. I watched the first 2 seasons of BCS and had never seen an episode of BB. Then I watched BB. Still haven't watched season 3 of BCS.

So if they've shown anything post BB I haven't seen it or didn't recognize it because I had not watched BB.

From the very first scene in BCS you see that Jimmy/Saul is in what looks like "witness protection". It's been a while, but I think the last time that we see Saul in BB he's going into witness protection or getting a new identity (whatever you want to call it.)

I'm sure that BCS will go past a point further than BB did and the ending will be on how Saul ended up working at Cinnabon with a new identity.

Was the first scene with him in a donut shop?

Seems like he said something about that in BB when he was going away.

Yeah he was working at Cinnabon, and yes he did mention it in BB.

He told Walt that he's not his lawyer anymore and that he's a nobody. He said in a month from now he'll be lucky to be able to manage a Cinnabon in Omaha.

Also he asked the guy that was making his new identity what was in Nebraska, and he replied "you are". So they made a couple references to Saul going to start his new life in Omaha working at the Cinnabon, which was the opening scene of BCS.

The only post BB stuff is the scenes of him working in at the Cinnabon and in the mall. They also had a scene of him at his apartment watching an old tape of a Saul Goodman commercial.

Wait, so why is he Saul Goodman in BB and Jimmy McGill in BCS?

How can he watch an old tape of a Saul Goodman commercial? Was the scene from post BB?

Because his real name is Jimmy McGill. Early in BCS it showed him with his friend doing scams and Saul Goodman was a name he would use when he was "in character" and got it from the saying "It's all good, man".

At some point in BCS he's going to start going by Saul Goodman and become the person introduced in BB.

Gotcha.

Watching BCS before BB has kinda thrown me off. I knew it was related to BB but honestly I think I thought it was a sequel spinoff and not a prequel.

Also I haven’t seen BCS since season two aired live.

I think I’m gonna rewatch it now that I’ve finished breaking bad.

Yeah, it'works better if you watch BB first. Not only do the Cinnabon parts not really make that much sense if you don't, but there are so many references and nods to BB that you'll only catch and/or make sense if you watched BB first.

It's worked wonderfully well. The only thing I've noticed they fudged was Mike's granddaughter's age. BCS starts out in 2003 and his granddaughter was introduced on screen around 2010 (on screen year) in BB yet in BCS she's only a little younger.

I think I'm gonna rewatch BCS. Netflix has the first two seasons. I haven't seen the 3rd season yet. I'll have to find a way to watch it after I rewatch 1 and 2.

I'd guess the 3rd season will show up on Netflix when season 4 starts. I think that's the way it usually works on Netflix.

I think each season usually starts around Jan-feb timeframe but I haven't heard an official date for season 4.

September 2018 is what I saw.

He’s managing a Cinnabon in Omaha,Nebraska like he told Walt he’d do if things went wrong. Set up by “a guy”. The same one that hid Walt in that Siberia area.

Don't know if they still do it this way but with BB, back before I caught up and could watch it live, I want to say that the previous season would hit Netflix the Friday before the new season premiered on that same Sunday. I think that for season 5 they actually waited until the Sunday morning of the day it premiered though. I was caught up by then so it didn't affect me but I remember people complaining about having to wait until the day of to catch up, I think a lot more people watched the final season live than any of the previous ones.

I'm in the minority but I think BCS is as good as BB.
