Well...it was obviously coming...but CNN is passing along an AP report from "top officials" that Hillary will concede tonight.

I guess that the election will become a two man focus by tomorrow morning...and the VP discussions will really heat up.

I'm not sure this is really breaking news.

If Hillary had some money, she'd stay in and hope to garner some super delegates, who have to be a bit wary of Obama now.

It is only breaking in the sense that she will actually make the speech. Also, "concede" may be too strong...the actual report says she will "acknowledge he has the delegates necessary for the nomination."

I probably took a bad leap in my title..maybe it should be changed. From the exact wording...I think that there is an implication that she will fight the delegate count...at least in the courts...maybe at the convention.

Her campaign manager is on CNN right now saying that the AP is wrong...that they plan on spending the rest of the week working the superdelegates ... he claims that Obama does not have the delegates right now to win...and that it is not over. His words are, the AP is "100% wrong."

I have to believe that he is just saying this to keep Montana and South Dakota from thinking she is out. But, maybe the AP is wrong...

It's amazing how easy this election could have been for the dems, and yet, they blew it.

Ok, in what ways will McCain be different than George W. Bush?
1) Are you freaking serious? This will be easier to read if you aren't looking through your navel to see it.

2) You're simply trumpeting Obama's rhetoric, but you can generally bet that if he said it, it has a 50 - 50 of being untrue.

3) I can't imagine 2 republicans being further apart on social issues

4) McCain will not have a puppet R congress to stupidly give him his way. Gridlock is good, regardless of your political views.

5) Isn't it awfully hot in your large intestine?

How did they blow it? It's June 3rd and the election is in November. I don't think McCain used his time as the nominee leading up until now wisely. He could have put some distance between himself and the Dems and I don't see it. It's almost as if he is waiting for an opponent to start the general election himself.

5) Isn't it awfully hot in your large intestine?

Ok, one answer out of 5 and even that one doesn't explain a difference in Bush and McCain.

So instead of answering the question you go on the attack. Nice.

1) you obviously don't know what an attack is.
2) I never stated my beliefs on how different Bush is from McCain. I stated Obama likes to put them in the same boat because they share an affiliation. Yet, Obama does not like this same method used on him. Get it?
3) Most everyone wants to acheive some "good" set of goals. The differences come in defining what the "good" goals are and even if people develop similar definitions there are countless different strategies that can be employed to reach the goals. So Obama really needs to cut that whole "McCain is a 3rd Bush term" crap since he so does not want to same labels applied to him in regards to his little hate group he belonged to for 20 years.
