Why would they pay for it? That's what I'm not getting.

If the President has to pay for his children to vacation, they need to up his damn salary by about 500-700%.

Does he have to pay for the secret service for his family every time they leave the White House?

I thought it was about 400,000 (entirely too low if he has to pay for secret service for his children, and his childrens vacation), but I could be off.

wait $400K isnt enough? I though $250K was wayyy too much to make. This guy has zero expenses, he can pony up $1K to fly his kids around instead of hiding them as "senior staff"

Let's recap:

Kids listed as "senior staffers" go on "official trip" but that is no indication of any fraud or malfeasance.

Perry's family leases some land with a racial saying on a rock and promptly paint over the saying = clear evidence that Perry is a racist.
