I still don't think its a good idea to publicly breastfeed, but if you are going to do it, cover everything up and keep it as private as you can. I've changed my opinion of it very slightly, but the pic of the woman graduating is one of the very reasons I am against it. That was a "look at me" moment, and for the wrong reasons. I think its great she graduated college, but to do that at a college ceremony with nothing covering yourself up is disrespectful to all those who don't want to see it.
Like I said, as long as its fully covered up and you are trying to direct attention to you feeding your child, go for it. It you can't simply apply a little common sense and make a spectacle out of it by not covering it up and letting everyone watch your motherhood exhibition, then that's a problem.
It's amazing that this woman was able to feed a baby while holding a gun to the head of those that didn't want to see it. I assume she only has two hands.
It's also amazing that people on the other side believe that everyone wants to see it, just because its natural. I have no problem with her feeding her kid, but she was pretty much just showing herself off. I don't know how you look at that pic and don't see that. If she had covered up, the photo wouldn't have made it as far as it has. Instead it would have been looked at as a tasteful way to publicly breastfeed your child, and that would have been just fine.
