I think the deeper discussion here is why she has a 4 month old at a concert, and in the front pit at that? Doesn't seem like much motherly instinct was put into that decision.

You can never underestimate people's lack of common sense. It drives me nuts when I see it in Neyland Stadium; much less in the pit at a concert.

I think that putting an age limit in the stadium is a good idea, even if others do not think so. I remember seeing basically a new born there for a game, and I think they still had the placenta in the car it was so new.

The rule for both of my boys was they had to be 6 years old and the opponent had to be horrible for me to bring them. Now that my youngest is 6, I'm considering raising the age to 35.

It has to be enjoyable for both parent and child, and sometimes kids are just too young for that environment. If it can't be enjoyed by both, then its wasted time and money, IMO.

There was a thread in the FB forum a couple of years ago. Some guy was wanting to bring his 6 week old to the Bama game and complaining he had to buy a seperate ticket. He pretty much got roasted as I recall.

You have a pretty solid guideline. I definitely agree on starting with a cup cake game for two reasons 1) the crowd wont be as rowdy and 2) I'd be willing to leave if I had too.

I don't think I can wait until my oldest is 6 though. He is only 3 but loves watching football on TV and actually stays focused for most of it. Doubt we will try this year but maybe next.

I'll never forget the time my daughter-in-law decided to breast feed while sitting in the middle of the church! She didn't cover up and people were gawking. I was totally embarrassed!

To make it worse, I introduced her to a friend after church and her boob was still hanging out! She said, "Oops, sorry!" My friend turned red in the face and never said another word!
