Lee is the. Best wr in the country. He's a quicker version of hunter with cp like moves. (Not as good as cps moves tho)

If were talking NFL, lee hands down

Maybe it's because we were 5-7, but I don't have the same level of man crush for CP as so many here do. Great athlete with a very raw skill set. That's what CP is in my eyes.

That's what he is to nfl guys too. CP would benefit greatly by another year

Compare the production from the two and the ones giving the edge to CP will come to their senses.

I wouldn't argue with him... but CP is the best player I have ever seen, with respect given to Chuck Webb.

Really? I like CP, but I can name a lot of UT WRs better than him off the top of my head - Meachem, Pickens, Gault, Hunter, Stallworth, Harper, Price, Kent, Nash, etc.

Lee's got a stronger pedigree, and for all CP's raw abilities, he still is pretty bad with picking up patterns. If he can't straighten that out, he won't realize his full potential in the NFL.

Sure and you compare the competition and game situations...Lee hasn't done squat tonight (9 yds/3rd qtr) against ND and CP scored on Alabama with the nations best defense.

I would take CP over all but maybe pickens...

Imagine if he was here for 4 years...

Lee is a better WR but Patterson is clearly the better athlete.

Very well said. I think this pretty much sums it up. I don't recall anyone that was as exciting to watch with the ball in their hands as Patterson but it seems his route running could have used some work. I hope he stays - he is really amazing to watch.

If our team was nationally recognized CP would be in those talks as well. That's why top recruits go to top school for that exposure.

Some of those guys may have more pure production... or speed... or better routes, but in terms of raw talent, I'll roll with CP.

Most of those guys played when TN was a much stronger team. Put CP on a Peyton Manning team with 3-4 years... do you really think any of those guys would compare?

CP has a great deal of physical talent. However, he lacks focus, and therefore, drops a lot of passes that hit him square in the hands. He also doesn't run disciplined routes and reportedly can't learn a college playbook.
