CP is electric but isnt half the receiver Lee is. Lee will translate to top NFL player and CP will likely not because he doesnt have the right skill set.

His lack of discipline means CP translates more as a returner in the NFL rather than a wr. Lee will be an accomplished receiver.

CP is a great athlete with phenomal moves on the field, but he's not disciplined enough to learn the playbook or, according to some, keep his grades up.

Statistically, the most dangerous/electrifying player in the nation is probably Dri Archer at Kent State.

However, for a strict comparison between the two, I'd go with Lee.

Lee knows the plays and runs the correct routes consistently.

To be a great WR you must know all the plays and run crisp routes and be at the spot you're supposed to be at consistently or you'll make the QB throw a INT like CP did to Bray at Vandy.

CP has lots of upside but WILL he study and work hard to learn everything to become a great WR?

He's been able to get by only on his raw ability so far but that will never happen in the NFL.

If I was a NFL GM and had to make my draft pick I'd take the proven and known product so I'd draft Lee over CP.

VFL...GBO!!!

Seen an NFL playbook? Then he has to learn to read coverage and sight adjust his route accordingly. We are about to find out how high a kick returner will get drafted.

So...Brent Ham-burglar opined on sports. For years that guy has made me yawn more than eating too much turkey.

that Marquis Lee could be the most dangerous player in NCAAF. Be as neutral as can be-wouldn't you honestly rather have CP? If I had a draft pick, there's no question who I'd take

I heard Brent say that---and told my GF that CP would disagree. As do I.

CP has more talent and natural ability by far but Lee is more polished running routes and making scripted plays happen.

We have a winner.

CP does NOT have it between the ears to learn the plays and routes required in the NFL. If he makes it, it will be on special teams.

CP is the next Randy Moss when he gets his route down, he will be the best WR in the NFL within 5 years, if he puts his mind to it, and works hard, he will be the best.:salute:

CP hasn't shown the smarts that it takes to learn the routes. When he gets to the next level and he has to make route adjustments based on what he sees in front of him defense wise, and be on the same page as the quarterback, I could see him having big trouble.

CP is simply FUN to watch! He will make something happen if he gets his hands on the ball.

Maybe not, but he will still make millions as a return man. There's nothing wrong with being the black Forest Gump. We all love watching the guy, and I can't wait to see him on Sundays. Even if it is only on special teams.

Forget what "furburger" said, coach Chaney (I really like the guy) says CP has not developed to his full potential yet, he has a very bright future ahead. The dude is already scary good !
