Brent 'n' Jesse vs Verne 'n' Gary

Yesterday, the SEC Network announced their number one play-by-play combo of Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer. As avid CFB viewers, would you consider this as an improvement, a decline, or a push compared to CBS's duo of Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson?

I don't think Danielson is a bad color guy. The problem is, he's constantly having to cover for Verne's senility. Having to correct statements that everyone watching can plainly see are inaccurate flusters Gary a bit, and throws him off his game.

Unfortunately, Musberger is slipping a bit in his old age. Herbstreit has done an excellent job of keeping Brent on track, but I think Danielson would continue to struggle.

Of course, it's a non-issue since Gary's under contract with CBS.

Something about his voice reminds me of trouncing Alabama for some reason.

I like Musberger. As for Palmer, not really that i like him but he is better than Verne and he is usually spot on. At least they didnt give the network Pollack. I hate that guy. Big Georgia homo.
