Can Rod Wilkes play hoops too? Well of course he can. That's a dumb question. Dress him up.

Pot issues aside, this is the most popularity Williams has enjoyed in his career. He's already missed 6 games. We need him back.

If you saw the GA game, you would realize we need another big strong body under the basket. Even if it just takes up space.

Yes! If there is one game in particular that we could have used him it would have been that one. And it's not that UGA's front court is really that good anyway. he could have held his own with those guys. Not sure we would have won, but it would have been closer.

Maybe he learned his lesson and will come back really focused on making up for his letting his team down....It's good to hear that he lost all that weight, if true...Maybe he also worked on his 5 ft and in shots...Maybe Pearl won't have to play so much...Thanks for stepping in Pearl but it's time to go back to your regular spot...

Glad to hear B. Williams is gonna get another chance. He has served his punishment.

This allows Chism to play a little more freely and not worry about guarding the post all game...This also will allow Hall to not feel so pressured...

IMO I think Hall is a better player right now off the bench...and forget starting Woolridge

My new starting rotation would be Maze, Prince, Hopson, Chism, WIlliams

Then rotation would be Goins/Bone for Maze, Tatum/Pearl for Prince, Mcbee/Tatum for

Hopson, then Woolridge for Chism, Hall for Williams...

I agreee.. we need a big body in the paint. He has size that our other players don't, and I agree will help with rebounding. +1 he should hit the weights but Pearl want's him to be able to run to fit his system, so I doubt he'll be bulking up anytime soon.

Will he have to set out two or three more games before he gets back into the rotation as Goins did. He will have to beat out Pearl--a very diffucult task.

If you think Williams will pass up coach's son on the depth chart especially with the way Stephen played against Florida, then you aren't too bright. I don't expect him to play this year unless there is foul trouble. I think Pearl keeps it Chism->Hall->Pearl->Williams.

dunno - the better question is what are you going to do come march? Since you surely won't be watching that them der Georwja Bulldawgs in the NCAAT or even the NIT. Does women's gymnastics take place during the spring perhaps?

You'll probably commit suicide when Da'Rick Rogers faxes his letter of intent to UT on Wednesday. The world will be a much better place because of it.

With this post, I'm not sure I would be making comments about anyone not being bright. You apparently know nothing about basketball. If we have to rely on Pearl the remainder of the season, every single game will be a questionable win.:lolabove:

I think he's just saying that Bruce Pearl isn't likely just to let his son get passed up by Williams on the depth chart just like that - after Bruce has praised him quite a bit for his play and the fact he's always been given a small edge due to being the coach's son. I don't think that was his opinion of what the line up should be - just what he think CBP will do..

Well, I certainly hope that was not his impression of our best line-up. I'm sure Williams will have to work his way back into the rotation---shouldn't take more than about one practice.

Brian Williams will be just fine as soon as he embraces his role, which is rebounder and defender. Block shots. Intimidate. Do the dirty work. Be nasty. Scoring a basket should be the last thing on his mind, or ours when it comes to BW.

Guys like Mark Eaton, Dikembe Mutombo, and Charles Oakley have made a long career and helped win alot of games being that guy.

A comparison between a stiff like Williams and guys like Mutombo and Oak may be the single most nausea inducing post I've ever seen here.

Umm, more like Doug Roth.
