We also should keep in mind that Jordan W could return next year. If JW returns, she will be the starting pg, with Brooklynn getting a ton of minutes at the PG spot when JW slides over to the 2 or is resting. I agree with you that Brooklynn is the LVs point guard of the future which may start as early as next season if JW decides not to return.Im not saying a great pg shouldn't come to TN but Miles will be the starter next year over any incoming freshmen BOOK IT
Your the person that said she could not shoot a lick. Do you mean to this point or forever since you didn't make a clarification in your post. She hasn't shot that well to this point do you mean that will continue all four years she plays here or do you think she will get better? The players that play her position in college shoot mostly in the 42 to 45 percent range for their career. A player that could not shoot a lick would be a bust no matter how you define it so evidently you think she will eventually increase her shooting percentage since you are not calling her a bust just a bad shooter. No problem I agree with you that she hasn't shot well in her first 25 shots, but believe she will overall be over a 40 percent shooter for her four years here.Who called her a bust? She was just SEC freshman of the week!
It would be silly to write off any freshman as a bust at this point including Wynn and Striplin who, unlike Miles, have been nonfactors to this point...

Agree. You can't have too many guards. Unless your MSST, and 5'6-5'9 guards is all you have...I think you recruit a point guard every year …. It’s not an easy position to learn and injuries , and now sickness , and all players now a days knows ….. nobody plays the whole game anymore! When the other teams pressure the ball and even in normal games you can play two point guards at one time ! If you can get one ? Take one every year ! JMO

Back to Brooklyn. She's a great option for guard, but as I and others have said, there is still opportunity to further strengthen the backcourt by recruiting guards. Doesn't look like Kellie will have a 2022 recruit, but would like to see her go after the best PGs available in the transfer portal when the time comes. If Walker leaves, PG is even thinner.
Shooting the ball yes have to agree need to have better percentages, They do most other parts of the game well we could really use some better shooting from that position. That would definitely elevate the team.Going by your arbitrary guideline, which I always enjoy, all three of our point guards are busts...
She had three years eligibility when she came here because she redshirted a year with an ACL. Covid was a free year so yes she could come back next season if my understanding of her situation. I don't know that she will as thought I heard she had a job already waiting whenever she decided to take it.I thought she's a grad transfer, so she will be wrapping up her Master's degree after this season (assuming it's a 2-year degree).
