Anyone know what kinda truck this dude drives?

Used, he bought it from Lamar. :)

The republicans should have plenty of time to decide on their next candidate since Barry is now such a

No, they didn't. That's my point. He raised some eyebrows as potentially very charismatic, some talk that they had hopes for him down the line. But nothing like this blind dash by the GOP to a complete unknown we are seeing today. GOP is clearly depserate for a saleable candidate. They trotted out Newt's corpse there for awhile.

Nobody is seriously pushing Brown right now as anything other than a blueprint.

I believe if he runs in 2012 he would have about 1 or so more years experience than your ball and chain did prior to his election.

Talking heads already suggesting it. What a comment that is on the GOP establishment that this guy no one has ever heard of until two weeks ago is the new hot commodity.

Have they learned nothing from their expeirnece with Palin?

Remind me the timeline of the current empty suit's ascendancy from community organizer to head socialist?

If its Palin, both SNL and Colbert will be the most DVDrd programs in history.
I don't think she's got a chance in hell of making it through the Primaries and I'm not even sure she's going to try.

It isn't. Don't be so hung up on Fox. It isn't conservatism central. It's a for profit biased opinion network. It just happens to do it better than the clowns on the left.

If they aren't representative of the right, how do you explain their commercial success?

Is it that they are representative of the right . . . or the fact that they've effectively got a monopoly on not being representative of the left?

Yes. Being the lone alternative is a big deal. Being the lone alternative for a very attractive demographic makes it a smoking home run.

I'd go for that if the distance between being a commercial enterprise simply giving the consumer what he wants, versus telling him what he needs, were a significant difference. But I think the line between the two at Fox is wafer thin.

They seem awfully in accord lately with the political party on the right, see eg Palin as contributor.

That makes no sense whatsoever. What Fox gives as it's product means exactly dick to advertisers in terms of ROI.

Name a network you assign to the left that pays a potential POTUS candidate to be a reporter, contributor, etc.

All Brown has to do now is just make a speech at the RNC and he will be all set to take the White House.

I do not believe that the GOP will make the mistake of letting the media, be it liberal or conservative media, dictate the next candidate.
