how so? for a guard he can't dribble w/ his right hand, he sure as hell can't shoot, might as well stick tanner wild out there bc he would disrupt the guy he is guarding more than JP will. only time JP really hustles is when he thinks he has a chance to get a dunk

In almost any other system he would be used at SF. His dribbling is serviceable for a wing and his size would allow him to post up almost any 2 guard. as for hustle, what do you think it takes to offensive rebound? do those just fall in your lap or do you have to fight for position and be active around the basket. you have legitimate complaints about JP's game but you're being grossly overdramatic about it and singling out a player for something that afflicts our entire squad. I didn't hear many complain about his game after last years Memphis game or while he was winning a 6th man award. To say that he couldn't be a valuable contributor is truly ignorant.

actually if you are around the basket sometimes they do fall into your lap. u knw why he actually goes after offensive rebs? so he can score. why's that important? it looks good on the stat sheet. actually i did complain about him last year, but i'll give him credit, he was better last year than this year. i'm not singling him out, i've called out chism, tatum, tabb, etc for having pathetic D. thing is you don't see them cry about a lot of calls. honestly i'll say this, yes i was exaggerating when i said he was the worst D1 player there are worse, but his attitude, and lack of effort drives me insane. i don't think he'd ever be an nba type of player, or an all american. i do think he wld be best utilized in the 10-15 mins tops range. that way he wld knw his PT is limited and he might actually try.

I'm tired of seeing Chism brick a 3ptr on a game-breaking possession when we have a chance to get back in it. He missed a timely 3ptr that led to a game-ending run in the KU and UK games.

That is spot on and I'm sure it impacted his success last year.

Also.... Please bench Chism. He is garbage. he is the reason for at least three of our losses and he maskes poor choices and did I mention he is LAZY!!!!!!!

The way Chisim has played lately...this post makes no sense. He took a horrible 3-pointer. Yes. He does that a couple times a game. Thats two possessions a game. Without Chism that one bad 3-pointer he took would not have mattered because the game would not have been so out of hand.
