You so called VOL FANS make me sick! I'm a die hard VOL FAN and Bruce Pearl is the best thing by far that has happened to TENNESSEE basketball in my life time for sure! When were we ever really nationally recognized before he got here? We might have had a few years where we had a decent ranking but nothing that lasted! If you don't like him then that's fine but keep your mouth shut! This site is for true VOL FANS! Go pull for Kentucky or something. I'd like to slap the lips off all you that get on here and bash him like we're some basketball powerhouse! Let the man have some time to build us into a power. It's coming and everybody else knows it but you tards who get on here and bash the dude for having us consistently ranked and getting top notch recruits. YEAH THAT'S AWFUL! You people posting that crap are the morons!

great coaches want critical, brutal and honest feedback. We love Pearl that is why we are trying to get him going. You don't tell your own son oh, don't worry everything is fine. Yes, you failed 3rd grade 4 times. No, you tell him to get off his butt and start getting things done or you are going to adopt a new kid to take his place. You hate to give your own kid up but hey this isn't Europe you need to work for life, there are no handouts here buddy.

So, those that don't want to be critical are the same people that let there spouses run all over them and don't bite the problem in the butt till it's to late and you have animosity between both parties. It's an easy fix right now...it won't be in 2 years and we will have another Fulmer fiasco on our hands.

Ridiculous. I was one of only a handful of students that watched Buzz Ball. I have an autographed picture of KO from when I was like 9. Bruce Pearl is not Tennessee basketball. Your fan card should be revoked. You'd think that if any fan base knew that coaches are not synonymous with the team, it'd be Tennessee fans after the X debacle.

Ah, useless bickering about which side of this argument the better fans are on. So predictable. Losses are a great time for claiming oneself to be a superior fan by bashing others for whatever their perspective may be. The Vols lost. Again. Badly. It sucks. Shut the hell up.

The adjustments that needed to made last night were on the defensive end...ball screen defense to be exact which probably needs to be emphasized more in practice. Hitting more shots and finding more scorers in the rotation is not an adjustment that could be made during the game since there are no other players to go to. Let's face it, the Tyler Smith thing is now beginning to bite us.

I didn't get to see the game last night and while I wasn't totally surprised we lost I was surprised by the final score. Vanderbilt is a good team, this Vol team played had played way above their heads for some time, it was bound to come crashing down sooner or later. For all those that were willing to praise Pearl for rallying his team and coaching his players up you must now be equally willing to criticize him.

i thought the substitutions in the second half sucked big time...i know we had foul trouble..but our starters didnt get back on the floor together after hopsons 4th foul till there was like 6 minutes left...at that point we were down like 8 and Vandy poured it on...our rotations are just ridiculous

When you consider all the things that happened this year, Pearl has done a good job with this team. How many teams can lose their best on-ball defender (senior) Tabb, Lose a valuable post player who would have really contributed this year--E-Man, lose a team leader (senior) Smith, lose quality depth in Tatum, Goins, Williams, and still be able to go 15-4 at this point? Give the man some credit for holding this team together and performing well under the circumstances.

All you guys must know that if we got rid of Pearl, we would hire Buzz Peterson or Wade Houston and would go right back to losing records...we all know that Pearl is the Tennessee basketball god and no one else in the nation could get us a 9 seed for $2 mil a year like he does.
