I'm really sensitive to this. My Great-Grandfather died in a concentration camp. Story has it that it was a nasty day and he slipped and fell out of a guard tower. Pretty tragic stuff.

My Great-Uncle died in a concentration camp too. He was apparently shot by accident when some idiot fell out of a guard tower and his gun went off.

Working hard doesn't mean he knows what he's doing. He's totally lost on the court. He will get thrown into it next season and hopefully learn his position.

Pearl also said he is one of the best offensive post players he has seen, but he is not a good rebounder. Guess since we have no problem scoring with all the current guys getting playing time, we are just saving Hall for next year.

If Pearl said that then even with all of my criticisms I have overestimated him. Last year, Hall grabbed 10 boards in 26 minutes against Alabama, 11 in 18 minutes against SC, and 6 more games with 5 or more despite limited playing time. This year he's gotten no playing time, but had 7 in 14 minutes against Belmont.

[edit to add this] Steven Pearl has 4 rebounds ONCE and 5 rebounds ONCE in his career.
