I still find it absolutely hilarious that people's only arguments to me now are "you are stupid" or "you are hat jr." I guess when you are on the losing side you have to go straight to ad hominem. Oh yeah BPV, we are taking a politics forum style vote, kidbourbon this time. So far it's unanimous.

I actually enjoy reading the intelligent, valid criticisms of Pearl, and there are many out there, especially this year. It just seems like reaching when in each and every post about Pearl the same pattern emerges - some UT fans use sarcastic humor to poke fun at the guy and other UT fans rush to his defense. The funniest part comes next. The first group accuses the fans of CBP of deifying him or calling him the greatest coach of all time. Most of the people on the board see CBP for what he is - a good coach who has brought a lot of attention to our program and made us a perennial NCAA tourney participant and top tier SEC team. He's no more or no less than that right now.

I think you are right about how most people on the board see Pearl. Unfortunately, they are generally not the morons that run in to Pearl's defense and turn a one line joke into a 4 page argument.

I have now met Indiana fans in two different cities who believe IU had interest in Pearl.

They seem happy and optimistic with Crean, but they wanted Bruce.
