It's what we hope...but I'm not sold on the idea of the NCAA taking a backseat to how the SEC commish decides what's a suitable punishment.

I think the NCAA will actually appreciate the SEC stepping in and levying such a heavy punishment.

Also the school's action were swift and harsh.

I think the NCAA would like to see more conferences and schools handle things like this so they don't have to get involved as much.

To me, IMO, this is over.

I'm really going to believe Bruce on this. It's not like he hasn't lied before. Oh wait, how did Tennessee get in this mess?

There's nothing else he can say. His only other option is silence, which is certainly not one Tanning Bed will exercise.

Hmm...wonder if anyone on here has been saying this...bueller? bueller?

December letter, and people will know we are okay.

The BOT who are sharpening the knives for Hamilton will also be disappointed. No LOIC and no majors for any of the sports.

If I were BP, I would keep my mouth shut at this point, my mind focused on the current team / season and my fingers crossed that the worst is over. The end ...

Agree. What would be the point of him saying anything about this situation right now? Maybe trying to be confident?

Hope you are correct. I'm ready to move on from all this stuff.

That's insanely optimistic. Or maybe just insane.

But, one can hope.
He's not helping his case by telling Andy Katz he doesn't think the gameday suspension will effect the team that badly. If you're going to claim you've been hidestrapped already and shouldn't be penalized further, it probably isn't wise to minimize the effect of your sanctions.

At what point does he learn that keeping his piehole shut could be a better option?
