The one downside to Brown not signing until March 16th... more opportunities for some of our idiot fans to F:censored: things up.

Yeah, that includes some of our beloved VN members. Give yourselves a hand, you know who you are. Stand up for a round of applause.

Well, this is the same fan base that has some coming out of the wood work and saying Bruce Pearl should be fired. It's quite obvious some of our fans have IQs lower than the basketball team's win total this year.

I'm hearing that BB will be a Vol from all the right people. I say book it.

'Nuff said for me, Lex. Thanks.

Can you offer more details without giving up your source?

Good source? Single or multiple person(s)?

Are they saying that he's "likely" or has he "officially" made it known that he fully intends to be a Vol? In other words, are they stating their opinion, or what they know (and you trust) to be fact? Percent of certainty (i.e. 100%, 90%, etc.)?

Don't doubt your reliability for a minute, but want to know how confident you feel that we should be in your source's opinion / statement of fact.

I feel as confident as I can about a recruit. I've just always wanted to say book it on the VN. We all know anything can happen. If I had to put a percentage soley based on the source I'd say 100%.

I will now officially be just as disappointed as everyone else if it doesn't happen. This guy is a game changer.

Bryce Brown now SINGLE on facebook

Their relationship received too much play....and too many stalkers came out of the woodwork. It was over the top appearing in the govols.xtra blog, and likely, resulted in her decision to yank it. Her FB account event listed her place of employment for Pete sakes, I don't blame her. Imagine someone walking up and asking her questions about it while she was working? We have crazy fans, too.

Besides, you don't keep everyone in suspense this long and then let the secret out because of something like a Facebook account.

Whether it was to remove the attention it placed on her / their relationship, or to prevent someone from making inferences from the subject matter s/he posted, the best way to stop it would be to simply delete the account.

Thanks, Lex. I am going to take it that he has made it known to folks on The Hill, and that it is a done deal.....as far as one could tell......or know.......at this point.......considering how crazy it has all been up to this point......and all other factors being carefully considered.......understanding that such may not ultimately occur at all...and that these results are not typical......and it was a driver on a closed course......and "WARNING" this beverage may be hot.

I have taken out my Big Orange Appointment Book, and scheduled Bryce Brown for an ALL VOL appointment on March 16th.

Right this way Mr. Brown. We've reserved a table for you and 108,000 of your closest friends. They've been expecting you, so mind your ears when they see you walk into the room.

Congratulations Lex! I'm still waiting for my chance to say "book it." I have trouble doing that until it's already booked. Then, of course, it's too late.

But, book it, on your word... I will! I won't say "welcome to UT, Bryce" just yet, but, if I made them, I'd start printing new T-shirts for Brown Signing Day 2009.

BB is a 'game changer'--and, if by the Grace of God, we add both BB and OC to this roster, they could move 2 or 3 games from the Loss to the Win column this fall.

Go Vols!

If we get BB i will sort of feel bad for Hardesty.. He definitely should have been our starting back for the past two or three years and now it looks like it will be even harder for him to start next season.. but im sure he's not giving up on it tho

Ive heard both the brown brothers are coming to UT.... except get this....Bryce is moving to linebacker and his brother is moving to rb. Apparently kiffin saw something in their tapes....lol jk

I'm hearing that after we finalize a few niggly details about securing the Heisman for Brown in year two, he's ours. Butler has apparently been in talks with the New York Athletic Club.
