I think he ruled Oregon out weeks ago after his visit to UT. LSU probably just reinforced that he wants to play in the big league of college football.


Some people have called BB the best recruit in 5 years. That sort of player needs to do what's best for him and his career. That's what UT represents.

Wheaton is ok. I don't think he comes to intentionally flame things.

As far as BB goes IMO, I think we have the most to offer. In three years (his last, most likely) if Kiffen does what most of us think he'll do, we we'll be REALLY GOOD.... God permittting, he would have a HUGE year. We'll just have to wait and see if he figures that out.

playing for UT also represents not having his career ended by getting lit up by eric berry.. marlon brown chose the wrong school and next season eric berry is gonna let him know all about it. s'all i'm saying.

Please don't bring up MB in this thread. I can taste the bile when I hear his name. I have had to live with the "what happened to your fence" ever since he signed with UGA.

One of the posters on TOS says that Brown will be a Vol and has a track record of being almost 100% accurate from what I have read and been told.

Same thing is being said in all corners of UT base. That is to say, credible sources saying he is a lock. However, we all know how that goes.

Thank you for the welcoming comments.

Whatever happens with Brown, I've learned a lot about UT. I'll be following the Vols now that I know something about them. It's going to be interesting to see how Kiffin does.

No worries. I won't talk crap if he does choose Oregon. I'm not claiming to know that he will choose any direction at this point. I'll just wait and see.

I think you're right that he will probably leave early for the NFL.
