Yes, I read it. The Oregon mod makes a long post about it and never mentions pulling their offer and then 1 minute later says they pulled his offer. I'm assuming they are joking.

The only thing that scares me about all these people saying BB is coming to UT is the possibility that Butler is telling every school this to get more attention on the announcement. I would feel a lot more comfortable if we had the signed LOI in hand.

Who says we don't already have it in hand?

Perhaps someone could confirm or deny it for the rest of us?

I originated that thread and would add

Sabanocchio
Rex
Gentlemen jack based on this recruiting season alone.

Several years have told me that hvwarrior58 stays on top of recruiting. This year he has had only a few cameo appearances. Still an EF Hutton.

Rex speaks of both fact and heart as a preacher could be viewed as a "the Doubting Thomas of Volnation". Must agree he keeps it in perspective.

Sabanocchio came onto the scene and I think he was overwhelmed by the processes of information but was able to capture the right info at the right time.

JustinGroves took a job and is busy as hades but when he does talk people listen. Had access and think he knows more about BB than he can say. Do think he mentioned early on after BB visit that it was more than positive.

Gentleman Jack did a good job this year and maybe one above under new alias. Accurate info.

Hat and Papa are the basketball EF Hutton's and would only see them in here to stir the pot for non vol fans.

VolFreak and OWH probably know but would never compromise VOLNation so both have stayed clear of the subject.

I will have to review LexVol postings in the BB thread. I have not seen any of late or early. ????

GaVol does a great job but again maybe a 'Doubting Thomas" and must see it to believe it.
you're discounting some folks on that list who know much more than they ever talk about. It's amazing how that correlates with them getting to remain in the circles of those who know the most because they're there.

Well said.

I have also noticed that posts made by credible members with seemingly "inside" information rarely (if ever) attempt to justify or qualify their posts in any significant way. They neither hedge their bets, nor do they attempt to use language which attempts to influence anyone into believing them - their comments stand on their own, so to speak.

I can't figure out how anyone figures this stuff out, to be honest. I would think that there would be no more than 3-7 people (TOPS) who would know if Brown has silently committed, and wouldn't expect any of them to talk outside of that group, even if they did know.

How does one go about gaining this inside information into the inner workings of the UT Athletic Department? I'm going to send CLK an e-mail and ask that he be my inside source - with a promise that I will not tell anyone where my information originated. In order to protect his anonymity, I'll only attribute his information to someone named, "KLC" or "LCK".

That should keep the VN code-crackers busy for long, long time. My e-mail has practically been drafted at this point.

At least when BB came to Knoxville, there were no altercations when he was out about town. And who wants to live where people smell like corn dogs and hurricanes threaten half your home schedule?>

What very big flaws does LSU have in recruiting?

I don't think he was speaking about recruiting in general, just in specific case. LSU's flaws would be your depth at the RB position as well as the fact that you have been recruiting him for the least amount of time.

Your recruiting flaw this year in regards to a running back is the depth you already have.

Well if the kid plans on starting in September then LSU ain't the place

Our Depth goes to nothing in 10 months.. our guys are seniors...

In the big picture, it is a good fit...a real good fit..but your hatred of us has blinded too much too see it

Word is Bryce Brown does not like corndogs. TIFWIW.
Posted via VolNation Mobile

That is what started the fight with the LSU bouncer...the bouncer took Bryce's corndog and his brother spoke up. Word on here is that Bryce didnt drink anything and was sitting in the corner. He was probably sulking because the bouncer took his corndog! ...so I would make the assumption that Bryce likes corndogs..

I did not mean to hurt your feelings. When given topics of discussion some are more vocal than others which does not mean that they know more or less. I was not trying to single out any particular person. I did little or any research. It was just my opinion and feel free to add to the list.

Vol freak and OWH are two I feel know but will not say. There are undoubtly more that have information but cannot discuss it on this website. If either of those would have said book it. I would be 100% confident that BB was a VOL. The can't state what they may know because they are in a position of trust?

Its a sad day in GQ, because ppl here posted info that he said and that he wanted to stay on that board.. he has stopped posting. and this is the guy who broke O, Nuke, and others.

Honestly though does he not expect something will not get out like that would get out. Even if it got posted on here, someone could have signed up for the 7 day free trial from LSU and read the same thing and posted it on their website.

I understand that they want to keep things in GQ, but it is utterly impossible. bdarnell nailed it when he said that he gets the subscription for the articles and that inside info will leak if you put it on a message board.

Who has Brown's corn dog now?
