:lolabove: Sounds awesome.

Looks like the argument would shift more toward receivers though. We would be arguing about how good Robert Meachem is for the Saints.

On a serious note, Meachem has played well. His yards per catch average was around 20, i believe. If Sean Payton would give him the ball a little more, maybe they could make it back to the playoffs. i don't think he is a very good coach, but thats just me

IDK if this has been asked (or answered)...
But if we do land Brown :crossfingers: Where will that put us in the team rankings?

Meachams problem is in his head, he is a lil slow to adapt a complex offense.

I just seen where the saints re-signed Devory Henderson....that is absurd.

Surely, you can't be another Oregon homer who thinks you can hold a candle to ole' wheaton, are you?

some mighty big vapors to fill... if wheaton would learn to keep his posts short and sarcastic like LG, then he would probably be accepted into the VN family as such.

Sure. Not as often since there won't be as much news to look for. But, I'll come back around.

We had a couple of infamous Cal posters around close to a year in advance and then hanging around a year after our 2 years series with the Bears. We'd hate for you to fail to live up to their superfan example.

not really sure why some r questioning VSPN when Brown wasn't doing any interviews; he agreed to do one with VSPN's blog radio. So there is some respect there for Brown to speak to him in the first place.

It is pretty obvious where Bryce wants to go and where his parents are leaning; which are two different places. His parents don't know much about one of the locations so that is why they are leaning the other way(IMO). It would have been nice if people would have left him alone on facebook cuz that is just weird as hell to us younger folks. It just made Tn fans looks like all the other fans when we were always known to be better than that. Good job. Lucky for us he built some nice relationships with players that could tell him that is the minority.

IMO get ready to see Montario/Bryce/Creer to split carries in Knox next year. Bryce will be all over the place similar to how Reggie was used. We have some pretty good weapons that nobody is talking about. my only worry is the oline staying healthy.

How did that series turn out, anyway?

Question Wheaton...
He visited Oregon in early November. The regular football season wasn't even over then... In fact, since that time personally I have changed two classes, broken up with my gf and gotten back with her, watched HS Football and BB seasons end, and gone on numerous college visits. Most importantly, I have changed my preferred college choice about 4 times.
Seriously, so much has happened since November I hardly remember anything about Depaul (which I visited then). The only good comments made about Oregon were made before he visited UT and LSU (arguably the best two programs to enter his recruitment.)
Finally, the weekend before his commitment, he is visiting UT (which he visited less than a month ago) on his own dime.
I can personally assure you, no HS Senior would commit to a school he hasn't seen since November. And if he did... he would wanna go look again to make sure.
Even you stated distance was a problem. Do you really think he wouldn't wanna come back and visit again if that's where he was going?
This is just from the perspective of a HS senior just as BB is (well not just haha but you get it).

I'm sorry to hear that you and your girlfriend have been having issues and that you can't decide on a school to attend. However, Brown has consistently been saying good things about Oregon ever since he visited. He has not always said positive things about UT (don't have the talent to be like USC, etc.).

You're right that a lot has happened since November. That is really no logical argument showing that Oregon is out of the picture. It's possible that they are out of the picture. But, I will reserve that conclusion for if/when Brown himself makes that known.

Why don't we just make a friendly wager.... someone step up and take on Wheaton and what the bet could be.

I'm not betting that he does. I will wait and see. I'm just saying that he could and has good reason to.

What kind of cameo appearance was that? Finally, he comes out to play, and then he's got to go in for dinner?

What is it with this Pac-10 guys and their priorities?

We're talking football here, Wheaton.

:)

It's simple. I would rather deal with you guys missing me than with an angry wife.

Besides, I gave you guys plenty to work with in my response to Tenacious D's specious manifesto.

Who else could possibly defend a team with so many relative weaknesses with such pathetic arguments for this long, ever?

That's a pretty bold statement considering that nobody here has really had an answer to the relevant arguments I've made.

Does Oregon even have a forum?

There are a few. I haven't seen any UT fans over there. What's up with that? A safety in numbers kind of thing? ;)

Yep, I agree. LG's a good comparison.

Also, I wasn't around when Droski started, but I've heard his start was a bit rough. Seems like he's turned out to be a good Pac-10 addition at VN.

Some of these VN 'old-timers' probably know how to help wheaton transition into a productive VN member after he comes to grips with Brown in Orange.
