I heard this morning that the visit is not going to happen now. That our coaches went from feeling very good about landing him, to feeling like they have an outside shot. In other words we are not the front runner. Anybody else now anything about this?

Inside source said that Brown read the latest odds out of bodog. ;)

Odds of winning the NC game in 2009:

Tennessee - 100/1
Miami - 35/1
LSU - 20/1
Oregon - 20/1

The Wiz of Odds: Florida-Oklahoma Rematch in the BCS Title Game?

He's just using your post. You're a pawn in this game--and he used you well. :p

I'm a pawn too, but just haven't thrown anything out there yet that got me sacrificed... yet. :eek:hmy:

I wonder if I can take some legal action against him for that???...j/k

End this please. He is not coming here. Kiffin flew to Kansas to see Sykes and Williams not Brown.

I was thinking about the fact that we have over 7,000 posts on this thread. Simply amazing. I went back to the very beginning and this was the third post. This is not an attempt to make fun of anyone's thoughts, but to demonstrate how amazing it is that this staff has come so far with recruits in such a small window of time. I also think the journey from point A to point B (or should I say point BB) has been one of the best I have seen on this site. So...if you want a good laugh or a reminder of the very interesting journey up to this point I would suggest reading the first page in this thread...quite eye opening.

Peace...

Ok, quiz. What does HALO mean?

High Altitude Low Opening

They're jumping so high, they'll probably be wearing oxygen masks. All you'd see would be a fast streak of a body falling through the sky as the shoot opens late, just before they'd otherwise splatter on the ground.

It's the perfect way to sneak BB into Knoxville. It's one way of inserting spooks in far away lands.

BB is in Knoxville right now, or in route. It's all very simple. All you have to do is read the thread, skip the Wheaton arguments, ignore Hyams, and rest easy. As long as Butler doesn't get into any mess with CEO everything should be fine. Celebrate it later, BB just wants to handle business right now...
A question to the recruiting guru's...
Unofficial visit ? Would Pops have to be paying for it, or can Butler ? It's only a violation if any one person considered a representative of the university pays for anything, right ?

VSPN, making the trip today ?

U of O, Class of 95 here. I'm guessing the Rose Bowl I got to go to back then to see Penn State steam roll us will be the last Rose we see for a while. NC?...umm no. That 20-1 should be 200-1, no way the ultra-liberal mentality of Eugene can harbor a team with the killer instinct needed to go undefeated, in my humble opinion. In the Pac-10, that is what a team like Oregon would need to even get a shot. Lucky for me I'm from Tennessee and bleed orange so we can all just look past the fact I shared college classroom space with chicks who don't shave.:eek:hmy:

Since this is obviously his primary criteria for the decision...

He's going to Florida (7/4 odds)

Those odds, along with UGA, Bama, and LSU, have something to do with UT's low odds. The Ducks have only one team, USC (5/1) to get by.

Remember, it's part of the farce that is the BCS Championship in which all the weaker conferences simply hope the SEC Champ doesn't get invited. That's the only way any other conference has won the BCS championship.

Actually it's "High Altitude Low Observability"

Google FTW:thumbsup:

We have a winner!

If BPV is jumping with him he doesn't need a mask.:)

Conspiracy theories....check.
A bad Hyams Prediction...check.
Plane Tracking....check.

Looks like the only thing left to complete this thread is a commitment from Byce Monday.

I say we let CEO and the Butler go at it in a cage match. Give CEO a 6-pack of Red Bull, give the Butler a sack of Krystals and watch the madness ensue. Winner take all. CEO wins, we get BB. If the Butler wins...never mind...no chance of that happening.
