I have said for about a month that Matts has no source and that he is just an idiot. I was clearly right in my assumption.

I found it fishy. Just last year, this guy was constantly hounding all of the recuriting gurus for info, and now he has a "source". Too weird.

My sources are players and then fans of other teams I know.

Generally the people from other teams give you a better perspective about the national scene and aren't biased for you at least, and the players know better than anyone else about whats going on with the other team.

I have no clue about Matts though. >_>

Sorry fellow UT fans...I had a commitment to my son and a performance he had tonight. Family first.

Yep, my source lied. I will take all the abuse...but my biggest flaw is believing people when they tell me something...until they give me reason not to believe them. I now have that reason. My source? Lacey Pearl. She was ADAMANT that he was NOT coming this weekend. Obviously, she was trying to cover her A$$ after screwing up by leaking the info to begin with.

Ok...I owned up to my source just like I said I would. If I must now take abuse for it...so be it.

Hey Matt...your turn to man up and take your medicine boy.

Guys, while I do think Matt should have filtered what he posted a little bit, since it makes little to no sense, I don't think pounding on him is fair. If I have a source I trust that gives me info, I'm usually going to pass it along as their info and not my opinion. He can't help it if he has a source that gives him bad information.

But again, sometimes, you just have to filter what you are told.

IIRC, it wasn't just her that lied. Didn't you deny knowing her at all, after saying how smart she was and all that, insinuating I had made up that she let the rumor leak?

Sometimes dude, you just have to ask yourself. Who has motivation to lie? VSPN? Who has a show and possible future in the business at stake? Um. no. Lacey? Who could be and was pinpointed as the source of a leak that could have or may have cost us a recruit? Umm.

Common sense.
