Only a colossal failure of a person could relate to that sorry ass attitude and try to pass it off as a legitimate reason for sucking at football.

I wouldn't give a damn about effort if I was forced into a situation.

Seems like you and BB would get along.

Does your mom still pick out your clothes for you too?

Nothing in your life is remotely comparable to a major DI athelete leaving home. Take your self-righteous perspective and cram it.

You know as much about my life as you claim to know about BB.

You speel reel gud to.

You act like somebody held a gun to his head and forced him to play football at Kansas State. If he didn't give a damn, then why not just quit for good?

He was ok with CJ Boleman leaving, not sure why he is so anti BB

I was fine with BB leaving too.

The problem I have is with his apologists still making excuses for his mediocrity, even though they are clueless.

Hope the NFL scouts buy it.

This coming from someone willing to trash a guy they don't know. That's not contradictory in the slightest.

I doubt he finishes school, to be honest. I don't think the drive is there (being at KSU).

There aren't many on here arguing these points with you. At this rate, BB will never make the NFL. Maybe he doesn't want to? Doubt it, but his work ethic suggests otherwise.

His last months in Knoxville and his current lack of work ethic at KSU (in comparison to the praise he garnered while here, plus his statistics on the field) suggest that he doesn't want to be there.

And then my argument is that you are calling him a baby for something that was out of his control.

If the kid is as gifted as the hype surrounding him would suggest (and he would start for us this year according to some) and the drive isn't there, then the kid needs some Zoloft or something. How could he possibly be so unhappy getting a free education and playing big time ball that he would let it get in the way of him becoming a great running back and possibly going to the NFL?

Point taken. Maybe he just really needs away from home? God knows I didn't look back when I left and now that I'm back near my family it is maddening.

Perhaps he just doesn't care about football, i.e. Askew? Again, unlikely, but not a soul on here knows otherwise.

What in the hell was out of his control?

I'll let you entertain the idea that every 18 year old kid can make a life altering desicion for themself without any hestitation.

His father/family is why he left Tennessee. His father/family are why he is at KSU. I'm happy you had the fortitude to up and leave everything behind you and move a 1,000 miles away at age 18 while ignoring your father's wishes.

Yea, I must be crazy.

Sorry bro. He's going to have to man up at some point in his life. Sooner rather than later would have worked out a lot better for him.

By the way, people do every day what you are suggesting is impossible. IE get themselves out of a bad situation when they turn 18, and make something of their lives.

It depends entirely on the circumstance and what is most important to them. Everything is circumstancial.

Then set it straight. What was the previous handle?

I'm not going there for obvious reasons, let it die.

PJ knows who I am, and that's all that concerns me. If you're that curious hit him up.
