You are seriously crazy if you think brown could not beat Poole out. Take the Orange glasses off.

Poole can take a lick. Brown proved he is not an SEC back. BB did not like getting hit. BB did the right thing by leaving. CDD was not going to baby him. Schnider is a tough coach. He is starting in the dog house. I will watch KSU this year to check out the drama. GBO!!!

I have nothing against the kid, but I hope when we start winning he regrets his decision to listen to his daddy. While family input is important on ones college choice, it should be where you want to be the most that matters in the end.

I think he regrets it now. IMO

I really don't think he ever wanted to leave. I still say DD didn't release him because he wanted to stay and his dad said no, so Dooley hoped that might help keep Bryce here to grow up a bit. Instead, dad figured a way to pay for college for a year and BB went to Kstate. I really hope the kid does well and gets away from his dad.

Ok this is my thing with Poole. The guy does not break tackles, none, not any.(second highlight he does I admit that) Go look at his highlights on youtube. One broken tackle over the whole highlight. I will take someone who gets four yards breaking one tackle over a guy who gets four and is down on first contact.

These kids are not men especially freshmen right out of high school. I will say that some juniors and seniors are. They are at the point in their life where they are making decisions for there future($$$$$).

Bryce was the first player to the sidelines when we gave him the ball. You're talking about how Poole doesn't break tackles, and for the most part that has been true, but at least when we give him the ball off-guard or off-tackle, he'll cover the ball, and get low. Bryce would scatter off as close to the sideline as he could, and get out of bounds ASAP before a CB or quicker LB had a chance to get their hands on Brown.

poole broke tackles last year, i remember one vs. oregon off the top of my head. it's not a strength of his and not common for him to do, but he has shown he can break tackles. brown's next broken tackle will be his first in college.

brown may end up being a good player, but the only signs that he'd beat out poole are their respective rivals rankings. showing flashes doesn't prove that you'll be or are a good college football player.

BB had talent and potential, but potential doesn't cut it here. You have to be dedicated and willing to work. Poole would have been our starter based on that alone. I wish bb the best but wouldn't want him back at all.

Couldn't, and still can't, hold Tauren's jock. And he's on the preseason all Big-12 Team?!

Although, this may not be saying much. Not much to choose from in the Big-12, I guess.

If Bryce was still here he would be starting over Poole.
