I have a feeling that BB will be featured in a Tom Rinaldi story on ESPN in a few years. He will probably go back to Wichita and become a high school coach and mentor young men to learn from his mistakes. Just a guess on how this plays out.

If he shed his handlers and try to put a consistent career together perhaps he might become something. Right now his Football resume is worthless and he can only blame himself. Hard work and effort will pay off when you produce hard work and effort.

I did not look but I seriously doubt that Bryce was invited to the combine

He wasn't invited. He held some kind of "workout" in his trainer's back yard, but I don't think much of anybody showed up. I doubt he even makes a practice squad...probably have to go to arena football.

BB will get a free agent look after the combine. He might make a roster, stranger things have happened.

Seriously, this is a future ESPN 30 for 30 episode. What a wasted talent. Seems like Kiffy was wrong about Jefferies at USCe...it will be Brown pumping gas for a living.

Alshon Jeffery isn't exactly a sure thing either. He has reportedly shown horrible discipline and been slow and overweight.

Ummm...He and his handlers made a circus out of his recruitment. He never showed the ability to be the number 1 recruit in the country. Cried his way out of his commitment to UT (or was that his handlers) transfered to Kansas State and managed with all his tremendous ability to be fourth team until he WALKED AWAY FROM HIS TEAM..... and if the stories are true back to hanging around the university he chose to leave. No Issues there.
Sounds to me like a kid who trusted adults who weren't looking out for his best interest. I feel bad for him to a point.

Legal issues? No. Character issues? One could make the case he lacks character based on how he left.

You're so bitter.. I hope the kid blows up in draft talk, and a team takes a chance on him. The only thing teams will be worried about will be his rust. Don't think they don't know what kind of player he is/was/could be. NFL teams know the hype that surrounded him out of high school.. He will get a chance.

Do people really think someone is going to use a pick on someone who couldn't even go to the combine? Based on what? That he was good in high school? He MAY make a practice squad and eventually get a chance, but to think he may be drafted is laughable at best. Nothing against the guy, but NFL teams have 53 man rosters so they typically don't use picks on someone like this.

It wasn't his handlers on the way he left UT. It was his dad wanting the older and younger brother to play together, but it F***ED UP Bryces college career. So, he transferred to KState with older brother he is dis-interested so he drops out of school and declares.

Poor guy will probably be categorized as a 'woulda, coulda, shoulda' type player when it is all said and done..

Today's deli: Rib Eye w/ provolone on white w/ mustard peppers & pickles, Sour Onion chips and a draft beer.:hi:

The deli special- Wake Forest, NC. Will pay $10 for delivery!

I hear he's got a trailer behind his folks homestead. Can only mean he's going to the draft, "playing with house money."

Wasted talent at the college level IMO. Hopefully somebody gives him a chance and he shows out like Arian Foster did. I wish him nothing but the best of luck in his future.

BB will never get drafted...He has done nothing to warrant a team taking a chance and wasting a draft pick on him...He will most likely go try out for a few teams but I believe his football career is over...He really ruined everything....I wish him well.

Watching ESPN's 30 for 30 on "The Best that Never Was" (Marcus Dupree) makes me sad.
The Bryce Brown situation makes me sad for the same reason. Wasted potential.
Watch these highlights from Brown's freshman year and see the great vision and quick cuts he makes:
Tennessee Volunteer Bryce Brown 2009 highlights - YouTube

Bryce Brown could have had a fantastic
career at Tennessee.
But all he is now is a sad story.

Dupree was a man! Brown is not even comparable. Is abrown even in the combine?
