I'll add Dane Bradshaw to your list of guys in the last 20 years from west TN (Memphis). He just barely slides into that time-frame.

Yep. Bradshaw has been great for the university. I just didn’t lump him into a class of top players. Also, Wayne Chism was from Bolivar, and that is really UT country anyway.

Bradshaw was actually the #2 player in the state, and #133 overall according to Rivals in 2003, but clearly a weak in-state group that year. It's funny to realize that Dane was in Lebron's graduating class.

Speaking of Bradshaw, his game commentary has become such a disappointment to me. When I first recall listening to him a couple years back he stayed with the game and brought insights from his experience as a player. Now he’s become just one more talking head babbling on about anything. It’s a shame

What facts? You act like the top guys from Tennessee are these elite ballers, and I proved the top 3 of 2021 are only contributing minimally or not at all. If Barnes got them and they were doing the same here, you'd be whining that Barnes can't evaluate talent.

I happened upon this article today and remembered we discussed this a few days ago 5 Duke basketball players among projected first-round draft picks
I agree with you that UT having five NBA prospects on the floor would be very hard to do. That said, I do think to win a championship they’ll have to be close to that.
