I actually don't mind Aidoo taking the occasional 3, if nothing else it helps keep his defender honest and frees up the lane for ZZ and guys. Its the 15-18 ft corner jumpers when he hasn't seen the ball go through the basket yet that urk me.

I don’t see the logic in having my tallest player taking 3 pointers regularly unless he’s the best shooter on the team. Our other 4 starters are all better from distance. Unless the other team can defend such that those guys can’t get good looks from 3 then it makes more sense to have our longest guy rebounding. JMO

If his defender has to guard him out there it opens up the lane for drives. Imagine playing Purdue but Edey has to leave the paint.

It would leave a more clear paint for Dalton to drive, JJJ to post, etc. It's a weapon I wish we tinkered with more.

Agreed if he could make them consistently in the 35-40% range. Based on how he’s shot the 3 to date, I’d stay in the paint and dare him to chunk up 3’s. Hopefully, the success the earlier poster saw in warm ups will start carrying over to the games such that he could pull an Edey away from the bucket.
