BTO’s Vanderbilt Postgame Report

I really don't think playing too many minutes will lead to fatigue in March, mainly because a majority of the players get in foul trouble.

Only JJJ and Vescovi play extended minutes regularly and Vescovi is in peak physical condition which should keep him from being fatigued in March (unless practice is too rigorous)

This has become more of a luxury this year as opposed to prior years when lack of bench cause several players to wear down by season end.

Don’t see anyone acting like they’re a great team? They just played Kentucky at Rupp in an even closer game and beat LSU right after that, they’re solid and playing better than their record probably suggests. Vols definitely could’ve executed better and pulled away, but to their credit they lock in and still almost won by exactly the number predicted.

Hyperbole and strawman arguments...the VN way...lol

One thing that stood out to me was the defensive play of Bailey. I thought Mashack would get more time for his defense but Bailey is much more effective. It’s a shame Bailey has lost confidence in his 3 point shot because he’s playing well in the other phases of the game.
