Do you think that K-State, who will most likely finish the season at 21-9, is in?

If that's how they finish, they should be in the field. However, a quick exit from the Big XII Tournament would leave them sweating out Selection Sunday.

I have been thinking that a 9-7 SEC record would leave the Gators with some work to do in Atlanta, but with other SEC bubble teams like Ole Miss and maybe Arky playing their way out of the field, maybe you're right, and 9-7 would be enough.

If Mississippi State loses to Florida and Vanderbilt, they've got problems. There are going to be plenty of teams with resumes just as good as the Bulldogs if they drop those contests.

So you guys see no more than 5 SEC teams in, maybe only 4.

Vanderbilt-Arkansas and Mississippi State-Florida will go a long way toward deciding how many bids the SEC gets. I suppose there's a way they could get 6 bids, but it would be an epic longshot.

It's sad to see Andy Kennedy and his team in the shape they have come to be in. It's amazing that a team that looked like a Top 25 team at the start of the year disappointed like they did.

Unless UF just falls on it's face I dont see them being left out..as I've mentioned before they will keep a more deserving team out I'm sure..but thats just how it is...$$$$

The sec is hard to call this year. We get 4 in with an outside shot at a fifth.

Those of us who pull for the SEC to receive all possible bids need to see FL beat MS State and then MS State beat Vandy to get both teams in. Of course if FL beats us, they would be in, but no UT fan will be wanting that! I'm not sure what the scenario for Ark is as I didn't check the schedules. Shame on me. If I am thinking correctly the possible teams are UT, Vandy, UK, FL, MS State, & Arkansas. Difficult to say which ones it will be as they can knock each other out in some cases, or put someone in. Glad I don't have to decide not only these teams, but all the others as well. I don't go back very far as a follower of basketball, but it seems to me this is going to be one of the more difficult years to determine whose is in as well as how to seed.

On Sunday, I had Baylor, WVU, OU, Ark, and Illinois State in.

Would you agree that UK will end up having one of the toughest resumes to judge ... ever?

With Baylor being labeled a bubble team, is it the general consensus that my aggies are in? They did destroy the zorros last night.

Kentucky will become a case study in how the Selection Committee putting their criteria out for public consumption gets them in trouble. They always talk about how you play inside your conference, Strength of Schedule, and last 10 games. Well, if those are really major factors, winning two of their final three should get Kentucky into the field. If they simply keep their mouths shut, they could just pick the 34 best at large teams. Instead, they box themselves into a situation where they have to validate their indicators.

Kentucky has to beat us for them to make it. If they lose Sunday, I think they have to make it to Sunday of the Conference Tourney. There ooc is very weak. If they were doing this in the Big East or Pac 10 it would be a different story.

Agree 100%. They've put out too much insider info on how they judge teams. Kentucky should not be in the tournament with their resume, but they'll get in with an 11-5 SEC record most likely, and a 12-4 record would be a lock.
