What if a team goes on a hot streak in a strong conference?

It just depends. Look at who and how kentucky has won. It's not like they're winning by 30 every game. I can't fault them for not winning pretty, but if you're competing for an NCAA big you have to do something to give a reason. I love Billy he's an awesome coach, he'll win championships there, but this year they don't deserve it. The only thing that can convince me otherwise would be to win out and make it to Sunday or maybe Saturday of the SEC tournament

I tend to agree with you, but I'm also wondering if a school like UK gets a little extra "juice" due to the fact that they're, well, Kentucky, and their fans will travel in droves. Similarly, I wonder if UF gets a little extra juice due to the fact that they are the two-time defending national champions.

Arkansas is done. A win over Auburn will do nothing to help them get in the tournament...and, other than beating Tennessee, there really is no chance of getting an impressive victory in Atlanta.

Arkansas went 7-9 in the SEC last year before winning 3 games to reach the final. So, they really finished 10-10 in the SEC. They made the NCAAs. So, yes, if Ole Miss wins their next 4 games before losing in the final (hopefully to us), they'll get in, especially since they were perfect OOC.

and now, it's looking like the hot team, KY may be the SECs best shot at getting a 4th in. whoda thunk it?

the only thing i know, TN, Vandy and MSU are in. and one of the group of Ark, Ole Miss, FL, or KY may get in. and they're all running out of games fast.
