As late as 4pm this afternoon, Gruden was actually meeting with assistant coaching candidates...he actually got deals done today with a couple of new assistants.

He had no idea this coming...completely caught him by surprise.

The Glazers have had something in the works...looks like Shanahan or Cowher.

WHAT? CJG is head coaching material anywhere in the NFL. I could see him coming to UT as an asst. long enough to chose his next HFC job in the NFL...or maybe he will like the college game and stay. When you are a highly successful NFL coach and a multi gozillionaire...you have options!
