Bulletin board material?

So, you actually believe that the defending National Champions don't take umbrage with a team they've owned being ranked above them? If you do, you may not understand motivation.
It might upset them sure, and I’m sure the game in general will be emotionally charged, the question then becomes who is able to better channel that emotion and execute at the same time. Basically i think the difference is motivation is negligible based on who is ranked what, 95% of the extra juice players will have in this game is from the SEC east being on the line, anything else is just pretty toppings imo

Hey man, we r number 1 in the nation! Can you guys believe that? Unreal man. Embrace and enjoy the moment. This will continue to be a magical season. We beat Florida and BAMA! It feels like a dream. What ever the outcome is Saturday, embrace the fact that we can still make the playoffs! This is just year 2! Heupel is changing the game. Keep embracing the moments. This coach is a living legend. He is changing the game. People will now start creating defenses for this kind of football. It will start becoming what spread became. Except, Its heupels verison of the spread. I don’t know what to call this, but it’s like spread basketball except on the football field.

I don't think this team is affected by outside noise. They're so laser focused. Of course they do throw some shade after wins Re: Levis "real football" comments lol so they do see that stuff but still. I don't think it has any effect whatsoever on their their preparation.

I’ve been racking over my brain of what kind of defense could stop this. In This offense the receiver runs the route based on the defense. Therefore, you can’t plan for this kind of offense.
I think in the future, an aggressive prevent defense is how you stop it. Drop 6 and rush 5? I know that sounds crazy because it’s different. Yes it will allow the team openings in the middle; but it keeps the game in front of the defense. This is the only thing I can personally conceived that can stop this kind of offense.

Tennesee ranked number 1? Is this bulletin board material? You bet it is. Georgia really has something to prove against the Vols now. And if the Vols think they're truly number one? They're gonna have to prove it! Go vols!

Oh no…they’re REALLY gonna be mad now!!

A lot of guys on this team have been embarrassed by UGA more than once. I don’t think they really care what is or isn’t bulletin board material for UGA. We have our own bad memories and demons that must be exorcised. There’s a bill to pay on Saturday and these VOLS are the bill collector. GBO!🍊

Tennessee's offense has a way of intimidating other teams, you can see it in their eyes during their interviews. Is it just me or does George's defense seem real young. Sort of a deer in the headlights kind of look.

We're going to get their best game and it's almost like some of our fans are skurt. Lol.

I want their very best. When it's over 1 of 2 things happen. We lost to the very best or we best the very best.

I believe this Vol team believes they can beat anybody and I believe they win.

This is why the panel takes into account the "been there before". Football is a mental game too and how all of this translates on the field will say alot about who deserves what.

How could this be more exciting? This is what college football is all about. If I let myself, I'd get so excited I wouldn't be able to see straight right now.

Eat it up.

Just execute.
There isn’t a team in the country that can stop Tennessee but Tennessee.
If they don’t get caught up in the moment or the wash they’ll be in good shape.

The team takes on the mentality of the coach. Tennessee hasn’t had a good mental standpoint in a very long time.
Since Fulmer before the downturn you could tell when they lost it and it effected the entire team and staff.

eh depends on how you look at it
#1 for TN means more confidence for our team

if they look, ESPN still predicts Georgia to win so that's material for us too

A lot less than being ranked #1 and being a 8.5 point underdog.... after clearly having played and beaten a tougher schedule.

Quoting myself, I tried to tell y'all that this was a real motivator for Georgia. After the game, Stetson Bennet said, paraphrasing, "if you think you're number one, you need to come see us first"
