Of course you blamed it on him right? It's just how it's done.I cleared a line at Walmart before. My son was around 7ish. We're talking 10 minute hang time cleared the line. I'm not normally extreme foul, but something I ate or whatever left something graveyard dead in my system. People that thought they were gonna get in behind me grimaced, grunted, and moved on hastily. If I was committed to having to pay for my goods, I'd have left too. Poor cashier. She was SOL.

No, actually I didn't. I was trying too hard to maintain a straight face to get through checkout. It "slipped" quietly back at the point of sale line entry, but it hung heavy over 6-8 foot area. What got me so hard trying not to laugh was the reaction of another gentleman and his kid when they thought they were gonna get in line behind me. It still cracks me up. Waving their hand in front of their face (like it was gonna help), and "ooh, oh, no" along with the expression. This was a major faux pas on my part, but it was a really bad digestive day whatever got to me.
