Bush has nearly doubled the National Debt

You don't the blame the person running the government, the person who is the sitting President for what happened during his administration, and you call me biased?

Show me anywhere where I said Bush didn't merit some of the blame. Of course he does. You are the one making the argument that he solely is responsible.

Your argument about the Dem minority is lame. If a minority can't block things why did so many judicial nominees never make it out of the Senate Judicial Committee? Review civics, open your mind and revisit the situation.

Bush is the worst president in living memory! I know hard core conservative republicans quite intelligent people, not the blithering idiot savageorangejug type, but people with the ability to think for themselves and not dribble on everything. To a man and woman they say Bush was worse than carter, two of them even voted for Obama much to my shock

Bush doubled the national debt, while leaving the country in a severe recession. I'll take inflation over recession.

This tells me, again, that you have no earthly idea what you're talking about. And, yes, I read the entire silly post.

You need to go back and read most of your posts in the last month, you sound more like a Bush apologist then anything.

I make no apologies for Bush. He strayed away from the principles that his party stands for. Like many politicians he did many things that made no sense to me. I do not defend many of his decisions as president.

In the past month you have done your best to hold him up as the biggest factor for the current mortgage meltdown we are seeing and I was simply pointing out to you how wrong you were. People who bought more than they could afford failed themselves, congress failed us, presidents failed us. Blaming one man for a problem that was so clearly the result of many factors is just about as wrong as one could be. That's all I was pointing out.

Tell the people who went through the great depression, how much worse a great inflation would have been.

what do you think inflation does exactly? BOOST the economy?

I'm not saying inflation isn't bad, but recession is worse, especially a severe one. Take the worse recession on record, the Depression, nothing else compares to it.

No I think this one is going to prove to be the worst recession since the big one.

unemployment was well over 10% after carter. it's currently south of 7%. i don't buy that we are going to see a 4% increase.

you still have no idea what economics is about. I guess I know that since you're trying to pin the housing bubble on the current administration. If you showed that you have even the remotest clue about the housing market or real estate finance, I might give you a shred of credit. However comma....
