The US removed Saddam Hussein from power and is spearheading a movement to form secular, representative government in the heart of a theocratic and oppressive region.
And, most of the riff-raff has been cleared from NOLA...:whistling:

I love how people always try to bring up the argument about pre-war intel and analysis, yet, when they are called on it, they either change the focus of the argument or quit the argument all together...

You and I both know the Taliban is actually in resurgancy right now and giving NATO forces hell. We didn't finish to job in Afghanistan. Bin Laden is still at large.

Afghanistan has been bombed out and depleted since the mid 1980s. However, violence is absent from Kabul and Kandahar, proper. Yes, the Taliban still exists along the border and in the Shah-i-kot. They will always exist in that region. Rooting them out of there is more of a pipe dream than rooting illegal aliens out of America...

That is the problem. "NATO" forces are glorified spectators.
