Butch confirms Dobbs was only QB available

The only TDs dropped that I recall are Josh Smith from Dobbs and Pig from Worley. Where are all of the multiple TD passes that were dropped? Please enlighten us and restore your e-cred.

Sure our receivers are dropping some but they are catching some that are behind them some low and the North catch earlier this year was great. I like you cannot remember multiple TD drops...

2a and 2b means they were listed even on the depth chart and then alphabetically. Would mean which goes in would be a game time decision. Honestly, the coaching staff probably didn't want to list one ahead of another. That way it would keep competition going and reduce the likelihood of one transferring. As soon as you put one ahead of the other, you increase the chance one transfers elsewhere to get playing time. As this year demonstrates, it is a good idea to have depth at the QB position.

Most of the time when players are listed as co-starter the one with the last name that is higher on the alphabet is listed 1st. In this case D comes before F and C (Croom) comes before S (Josh Smith) they are listed as Co starters.
But earlier in the year when they made the travel squad cuts Dobbs was not taken to Florida, he may have made up ground but I believe he was 4th at that time.
